I have had a lot of fun soloing older instances with my pally. I could even do some 10 man raids solo. Now I am raising an enhancement shaman and was wondering how far I might go down the same solo path. I know that the surviveability isn't as high so I might have to skip Kara. Some of you must have tried walking down this same solo path and I was wondering what you experianced.

I actually was able to solo a bunch of the classic stuff on my shaman as enhancement. The key was to find instances that could supply you with small groups to pull. That becomes much more key. Also, dodge rating is huge. If you can get a bit of dodge going you can avoid a great deal of damage by, well, dodging it.
