Spell Changes

*
Fire Nova: 40 yd range
4 sec cooldown
Ignites your Flame Shock, on any nearby enemies, causing each of them to emit a wave of flames, that deals 648 to 724 Fire damage to every other enemy within 10 yards.
*
Earth Elemental Totem: Summons an elemental totem that calls forth a Greater Earth Elemental to protect the caster and his allies. Lasts 2 min.
*
Magma Totem: Summons a Magma Totem with 5 health at the feet of the caster for 1 min that causes 268 Fire damage to creatures within 8 yards every 2 seconds.

Talent and Specialization Changes

*
Improved Fire Nova: The icon has changed.
Improved Fire Nova turns into: Seasoned Winds
When you successfully prevent an enemy spellcast with Wind Shear or Grounding Totem, you gain ((cond($lte(level, 270), level, cond($lte(level, 80), level + (level) * 5, level + (level) * 5 + (level) * 7))) * 0.5) resistance to that spell's magical school for 10 sec.
*
Purification: Increases the effectiveness of your healing spells by 25%, and reduces the casting time of your Healing Wave and Greater Healing Wave spells by 1 sec.
*
Improved Fire Nova: The icon has changed.
*
Earthquake: Compare tooltips.
*
Earthquake: An earthquake shakes the target area, dealing 325 Physical damage to enemies every 1, with a 10% chance of knocking them down.

Yeah that is a Huge buff to Earthquake in my opinion. Hopefully they will then buff the damage later (lol I am greedy I know). It looks like it the new fire nova will be right what the doctor asked for. Woot!

Edit: I keep finding transcription errors!

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Fire Nova change plays out...I'm pretty dang sure it will be an improvement though, totem placement was frustrating. Earthquake change is nifty design-wise, makes it rather similar to Healing Rain, just with more pain :D

If I am reading it correctly the Fire Nova buff would allow us to get Flame Shock up on three different targets and then basically detonate them. It will take some playing around and careful casting, but that should be fun.

Fire Nova has been redesigned and decoupled from shaman Fire totems. Instead, it now pulses that same area-of-effect from each target that is afflicted by the shaman's own Flame Shock debuff. It now damages all enemies except the target hit by Flame Shock. The ability's cooldown has been reduced from 4 seconds, down from 10.
Magma Totem now lasts for 60 seconds, up from 21.
Stoneclaw Totem's area-of-effect threat pulse no longer affects critters.

And where are you getting 3 from?

It looks like, if you DoT 4 targets, and FN, each will get hit by 3 explosions. But it doesn't say anything about it consuming the Flame Shock.

This should be fun:

Earthquake
Target 1- FS
FN-
Target 2-4- FS
FN-
Target 5-7- FS
FN-
Target 8-10 FS
FN- 18.5 seconds. You'll need to drop target 10 if you don't have a glyph.

Fun times.

Oh, I should have been more specific Idiggory, what I mean is that the duration on Flame Shock should let you nail at least three targets before detonation, such that the maximum number of folks that could be explosive devices would be around three. Course I have not played with it yet, so I can not be sure.

Gah Posted too early, meant to hit Preview.

Your math suggests that if trash is around long enough we should be able to blow up 10 targets at a time? That Flame Shock Glyph just got really really awesome.

Yeah... I forgot Flame Shock has a CD. >.<

But with talents it's, what, 4 seconds? Well then you can still hit 4 mobs with FS and then FN before it expires (mixing in a nova in between each one). The glyph adds 2 more, I believe.
