Fix the colors, add a few more posts for more info you will need them and use wowhead mouse over links for stuff.

I would have put it there but I'm hoping you are on and can add extra posts now. A sticky takes a few posts, not just one.

Take out all the color change tags, I can't read any of it even if I highlight stuff. Use a mix of and [link][/link] to emphasize things.

The [ul] and inner [li] tags are sweet for lists.

One of the most annoying parts of guide writing is having to take into account both the Classic and Parchment Skins. I've only found a few colors I like with both.

I wasn't fishing for a sticky honestly but I can keep working at and do my best to make it stick-worthy.

Today is bad for me - Should have something by Monday night, then.

I like the coloring. If you're using the Classic layout (you should), it's no problem reading any of the text.

TL;DR: Parchment layout is bad.

The one thing I would give feedback on is your gemming advice. Take +armour meta, use mastery gems to get the requirements. Socket Bonuses are very strong nowadays and Mastery is near equal to Stamina in effectiveness so it is worthwhile to throw a couple yellows into your mix, especially if it can grab you 20 points of socket bonuses (more for a headslot)

Thanks for putting in the effort tzsjynx. Hopefully with some help from the community we can build it up to get stickied.

Some points you might want to add:

*Arguements for Stamina stacking:
-Increases your threat generation via Vengeance. You avoid less hits bumping up your damage taken -> Vengeance Attack Power increases. link
-Allows the healer to spam their more mana efficient heal for longer before having to use their heal bombs (Divine Light, Greater Heal or whatever else)

The only tank specific macro I used throughout Wrath was a "HoR(taunt), Divine Shield, cancel aura macro" that would remove nasties within a time window of which you wouldn't lose aggro. Only requirement was that the taunt had to land otherwise your dps would get owned. If you want this pm me and I will send it to you
You can add a taunt at the start of this but I always manually cast HoR before using it
/cast Divine Shield
/cancelaura Divine Shield

I'm not sure about your rotations. They seems great for initial burst but prioritizing your shortest cooldowns earlier will allow you to hit them again instead of having a heap of downtime waiting around.

Generally speaking you want to use something similar to a 939 rotation that uses CS or HotR every second move allowing Avengers Shield procs, Holy Wrath, Cons, SotR as fillers in between. This allows you to generate HoPo as efficiently as possible while still maintaining good threat. I remember reading one of Knaughty's (maintankadin poster) posts about how it is possible to weave Inquisition into our rotation as well. This is directed towards raid bosses but since Baradin Hold is clearable by PuGs I thought it might be worth pointing out. Also it may be a better choice for using HoPo during aoe tanking as it will bump up the dps/tps of Holy Wrath and Cons.

I'll add links when I get home later.

Edit:

Also you want Parry to be about 1% higher (1.0295% for the super min-maxer) than Dodge due to Diminishing Returns.

Also agility no longer grants armor. It is 75% as good as dodge.

First off, the guide looks great and it looks like you put a lot of thought into it. Even though historically I was a paladin tank, I have no idea what the current state of Paladin tanking is (been Ret/Holy since Cata patch), so reading that post was educating.

The colors are a problem, and you can't count on people using classic/papyrus, especially because new people comign to the forums probably aren't going to switch their colors over just so they can read a post, and these are the people who you want to help.

When I was doing my guide, I speant a lot of time working on colors, switching between classic/papyrus, and trying to get the best color scheme possible. It actually does make quite a difference to the people you are trying to help.

Also, taking the time to add links is a great help to anyone who will be referencing your guide in the future.

Like I said, it seems like you've already put a lot of time and effort into this, and it shows. It will be a work in progress for a bit, but taking the time to make those tweaks to the readability and usability of the guide will greatly improve its impact on new readers.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have been busy beyond believe between Raiding and Real life. Sorry to have taken so long to address the issues.

Really good points from everyone - I got some color schemes from Poldaran and I'll be using those as well as some other tips I've seen. I'm basically going to unmark it by copy-pasta and then reset all the formatting. Fix a few things, add some of your suggestions, and finish it up.

I honestly didn't even know that about Parry, BTW, arthoriuss. I haven't ever heard that so thanks for the tip! Will be working on it by the time you read this - might take a few nights, though.
