Still having a hard time playing my feral druid. It just feels awfully slow and clumsy compared to my other toons.

This goes so far that for the most part I have avoided the 4.2 daily quests. It takes forever to kill something, and the self-healing is so pathetic compared to my rogue and warrior that I am just plain frustrated whenever I want to actually do something with my druid. PvP means spending half the match being rooted by somebody, and the other half waiting to be resurrected, so I fail to see the fun there either.

My balance/resto druid is almost 76 now, and at least for now it's enjoyable. Feral just doesn't seem to work for me this expansion.

Feral gets better once you get better gear.

The biggest issue with solo play is that you have to spam Mangle, which isn't as effective as Shred, especially on longer fights. On the other hand, with some points in Thick Hide (even in full DPS spec, I dump three points there, in case I have to off-tank), we can pull a bunch of mobs and rip them apart in Bear Form.

We lack burst, but can keep up the damage without relying on cooldowns. Berserk is just one of those things I pop when I feel I've got my buffs and debuffs rolling and want to spam Shred some.

Just as a general tip Christina, it's generally frowned upon here to revive an old topic the way you have, especially in regards to answering a question other people have already answered. If the last post is more than 30 days old, don't do it.

Christina... don't listen to Pigtails. I am all about dead thread revival. It takes some of the regulars by surprise, and that is the beauty of it. There aren't enough posters on this site as is so...

If you have something to say, about anything at all, DO IT!

Moonkissed, you need to lay off the moonshine. Necroposting is a no-no, but given the activity, or lack thereof, on the class boards lately, I don't mind.

Just don't be like Horse and necro threads from a million years ago.

Oh gods that was funny lol.

I wouldn't have minded if she had said something with more substance. Maybe I'm just being a snob. Smiley: tongue

Also I don't think half my posts have anywhere near that much substance...

Necroposts should have some sort of reason for being necro'd though. Regular posts don't need substance. Smiley: grin

Yeah, always include a joke in a necro.

So, a Marine walks into a bar and asks "Where's the counter?"

Wait, that joke's only funny if you play StarCraft 2.
