I was at 88 common for diggerest. I have 13 rares so far. I did not actually count up the number of troll yet. I saved over 500 troll frags on the way to 450 but solved them all with no luck. Took about another week of nonstop digging any troll site I could get to pop. Mostly in EK.

It popped on my last try for the day. I said to myself gdmit I can't take anymore this is the last solve then I need to take a break from archeology for a couple days. *Solve *OMFGOMFGWOOT

Now of course I am digging up the tolvir one hander.... becuase I am hopelessly addicted to archeology now.

Well big grats, I am officially jealous until I get mine. I've almost got all the achieves, and have about 80 troll completions (though I didn't wait because I didn't know about the 450 thing until it was too late). I took a break from EK to get all the other achieves, but I think I'm going to go back now.

Same here, though I'd rather have that damn dwarf staff for my mage than the sword for my DK.

Grats and haetchoo.

Did 15k on Pitlord 25 man last night in TB with my new choppa for the #2 spot in the raid. Who says Ret can't DPS now? On a boss who mostly stands still and lets you hit him... Smiley: lol

Got edged out by an ele shammy of all things who did 16k. Beat some SV hunters who are probably not as good as the mighty Aeth. ;)

Lost the will to farm this after about 160 troll solves over two characters, abbove 450 skill of course. Given the time already invested, i should probably go back and finish it though. Sigh...

I took a break to get all the other achieves for Archaeology, I only have 3 rares left before I get my "Professor" title, and I might as well make one of them Zin'rokh. I'm going back to EK until I get that sword.

It will be mine.... oh yes, it will be mine.

I do not understand how you people can spend so much time on archeology.
It's as mind numbing as fishing, only you actually need to keep your eyes on the screen half the time.

TV preferably the football playoffs + beer. Multi-task!

Or in your case um Soccer? Or watching death metal guys get brain damage from bouncing their squishy brains up and down against their craniums while rocking out. It's really more of a downtime while enjoying other media type of profession.

It gives me something to do while waiting for 40 minute dungeon queues, though I also have some stand up comedy playing in the background courtesy of Netflix.

I do a lot of multitasking, particularly with household chores. Cooking, cleaning, laundry - both the in-game task and real-life task are fairly boring and can be picked up or put down at will. So switching between makes them both go faster.

Perhaps I should pick up Archaeology again and get this baby for my Death Knight.

Should get it around the time T12 hits the streets. Smiley: facepalm

Got mine tonight! I picked up Archaeology on Dec 17, so it took me quite awhile to find it, but it is so worth it! I can't wait to raid tomorrow night and really try it out.

Or you just play arena with your DK and get a weapon that is almost as good in 3x ±1-2 hours time.

Six arena wins takes me and my pve geared prot warrior friend about 40 minutes on average. So two hours work for a weapon that isn't much worse than ZR. Doesn't stop me hunting for it though!

Almost as good(as almost as 228 rating wasted on resilience is), but not nearly as cool looking(comparing the two handed sword).

You get a choice of mace, axe or sword though which can be an advantage for certain races, plus the pvp weapon gives you more variety in terms of cosmetic choice. The real reason ZR is so good is the 3.8 swing timer though, adding signifigant damage to your instant strikes.

228 resillience is significant, but I know that for hunters at least the arena weapons are 3.0 speed and 3.0 speed is about 100-150 more dps than 2.9 speed which more than makes up for the 228 rating.

That said, 3.8 speed is very nice.
