Why I love fire (Brief story)Follow

I created my first mage June 1st, 2007. Yes, I remember the date. The night before my level 16 warrior was given a run through of RFC by a guildy, a 48 mage. My mouth dropped in awe at the stuff this dude did, and my warrior was promptly forgotten as I decided that THAT was what I wanted to do.

I played as Frost all through The Burning Crusade, and I played Arcane through most of Lich King. I switched to fire once they changed the talents all up, and I saw a substantial increase to my DPS. Fire just seemed to fit.

So yesterday, I was doing Tol Barad. The base I was at was being Zerg'd like holy hell by the Alliance, so, making a stand, I picked one target, a Dwarf Warrior, and just did my normal boss/mob-that-must-die-now routine; Pyroblast, Living Bomb, and Combustion. So I get him going, and he runs around like Tweek on South Park (OH JESUS I'M BURNING!).

Then, Impact procs. I hit the Dwarf with it, and I watch as everyone around him picks up the dots and my screen starts having a fit as big numbers start popping up all over the place.

It made my day ^_^

that sounds like pure thrill.
I plan to spec Fire when I level my Mage in the future.
