Hey guys :)

Just hit 85 on my Paladin this morning (woot!). I think I've got a good handle on what to do as far as a priority/rotation for Ret, but where I fall short is keeping track of Inquisition. Actually, I wasn't using it at all when I first trained it, but once I started trying to use it, I definitely saw an increase in my DPS.

Is there a good light-weight add-on that would help me keep track of Inquisition's uptime so I don't let it fall off as often? Any ideas would be appreciated :)

Power Auras is my one of my favorite add ons ever as it can be used to accommodate a wide variety of needs. It's not specifically designed for your needs, however with some finagling it can be made to do just about anything! Once you get good at it you can even make up Power Auras on the fly for troublesome boss fights! I made a few myself for tanking the Forgemaster in Heroic BRC to give me a stack count and a timer =D

At least give it a look!!

Thanks, I will look into that for sure :) Any other ideas are still welcome, but I will give that one a try. Thanks again!

Hey, I just wanted to come back and thank you again tzsjynx for mentioning PowerAuras. Once I figured it out I found that I really like it. Definitely has made it easier to keep track of my Inquisition uptime, and as a result I've seen my DPS go up. It's not great, and I don't know if it's just my gear or if I'm doing something wrong, but this has definitely helped :)

Retribution has a very long and difficult priority list filled with micro rotations, so do not feel bad about it taking a while to learn. I still am far from mastering it, and while I could try to give you pointers I think that you'd be better served reading about it from some pros!

Retribution Concordance

Retribution's rotation is one of the hardest to get down, and mixing that in with the fact that you may be needed for support AND the fact that you'll need to keep moving with the targets as opposed to those lucky ranged casters makes it a daunting challenge.

I'm glad I could help, though =)

Let me know if I can be of any assistance with Power Auras, it really can be a Paladin's dream addon.

Well, currently there's only one thing I can't figure out, and I'm sure I'll be kicking myself once I learn it, lol. Currently the only way I can find to open Power Auras is to go to the main menu under Interface -> AddOns. Once I get it open though, I try to close that main menu because Power Auras is partially hidden by it, and Power Auras closes as well, lol. It's rather frustrating, but it works fine if I just don't close out of the game's interface menu. I just have to move Power Auras all the way to one side of the screen.

Hope that made sense :P It's late (early?) and I haven't been to bed yet, lol.

/powa opens the menu.

The interface is obnoxious to manipulate and if you're operating at a small resolution you have basically no options other than to move it to the side - funny, really, that a program designed to utilize screen space as efficiently as possible cannot do the same with its own control panel!

lol that is kind of ironic ;) Thanks for the / command though. That should help make things less obnoxious :)

Still loving it! Gonna have to explore options for my other characters too I think.
