Mastery Cap for Disc :: World of Warcraft

We have a mastery cap as Disc since DA can only shield for up to 20% of the casters max health.

So figure out what 20% of your health is with the buffs you normally have to get your personal cap and then do some math;

0.3*(1+(mastery/100)) = DA%, multiply that by the average crit amount of your most commonly use spelland see if it goes over your cap.

On the other hand, I don't expect we'll ever hit that. Unless you play disc and gear for master only, I guess - which would make an interesting but fairly odd playstyle.

Most likely is out of reach for most people but still is not something I had thought of until I saw something about it on EJ. Still is something to be mindful of when gearing, especially if you have a decent amount of mastery and are using mostly Heal.
