Yep, they are most definitely worth something, they are all ilvl 346 blue items on par with what you would get in a heroic dungeon run. I'd recommend picking up a lot of the gear with Hit on it as you will most likely be where I was (at around 400-500 hit after hitting 85 and needing around 1700 to be hit capped -- yeah, so 4% -> 17%).

Also, check out the loot tables to see which instances you can most easily run the supplement the purchases (no use buying something that can be replaced in a run or two with something better). Also check out the reputation vendors, most reputations have items for us at either Honored or Revered (and then a couple have stuff at exalted as well).

Yep, ontop of where Garrosh is located (think by where the old bank/flight point was). Most importantly remember that before you can do heroic 5mans you need a gear level of 329 (visible on your character sheet under general)
