Where are you getting your relative stat weights, because everywhere I look, I'm getting something that's way different than what you have. From your link, at a minimum, Agility is way undervalued. With the way Agility converts to dodge, crit, and AP, it should be worth (.73 * Dodge) + (.55 * Crit) + (Strength), or using the rest of those numbers, 45.88. Using any set of stat weights I've found, Agi pieces only lose to Str when the Str piece has a higher iLevel, and only because of the extra stamina.

I got the stat weights from the same exact place your got the agility conversion math. Double checking now as may have used many of the older numbers that were more based off of the wowhead defaults.

When I redid the list, I started at the bottom and went up. The wowhead item weight tool can go bonkers with relics when they are selected as part of a by slot comparison. I'm thinking something got mixed up then. Strangely relics work fine when done on their own.

Something worth noting in the original post, I think, is the fact that taunts can no longer miss. I saw this posted in EJ, although I haven't seen a source yet. It seems to be true, though, as I've never had a taunt resisted and I'm sitting around 4% hit.

I haven't found a source either but have heard such rumors as well. Also have yet to miss a taunt.

Yeah, taunts no longer miss at all, just subject to regular DR stuff.

Have a legit source?

I mean I believe it and all, I just never remember it from patch notes or anything.

Wowwiki links 4.0.1 as the patch where all taunts changed, but there's noting about it in the actual patch notes. Yay for stealth fixes. I still remember back before inscription (Glyph of Growl/etc) in ZA runs on the bear boss, having a taunt miss and our pally having to BoP one of us to shed aggro.

I always had a spare finger hovering over my challenging roar button in case the taunt resisted. Didn't happen very often and luckily I never had both fail. I was always worried about it though :)

Wow, I actually thought this thread was a new thread and not a sticky, and I read the title as 'Getting your beer into heroics'. Was about to give some solid advice on how to play while holding a brew.

Time for a nap.
