I couldnt skin in either form without a knife and the tooltip no longer says anything about not needing one. So I guess having 1 free inventory slot was too overpowered to make it to live?

I haven't tested yet but with the amount of QQ going on in General and Trade chats about it, they took away that planned ability. Maybe Blizz thought it was too overpowered to let a race skin without a knife and faster.

Ok, its been almost a week since cata dropped. Can anyone say definitively what the best profs for rogues in pve and pvp are, respectively, or is it still too early?

Quick and stupid answer:

LW and Clothcrafting I believe. The Ap clothcrafting enchant offers is equal to 92 agi or something stupid.

Ill still be on JC myself, the flexibility of stats helps immensely.

I am very upset with what they have done to engineering. I went LW/Engi way back in BC for the roflcopter and was very happy through Wrath with bombs and toys. I am really ticked that they made the mote extractor worthless in the new zones and instead shoved the item that you keep in your bag to get extra air while gathering, really sucks for those of us who don't gather.

I am going to stick with this combo though. I have too much invested in both to drop them now. I just spent 4400g yesterday on leathers to get 450-499 LW. My DK is mining/enchanting, so he is next to gather up some ore to get my engi up.

Ugh Part of me is upset I've been lvling engineering. On my server it costs a ton to skill up and the stuff you make is being sold for Under 100 gold when it costs 700-1500 in mats. I could see hunters getting good use with scopes (if you couldnt buy them for 20 gold) and im upset the engineering googles are itemized lower then the same item.

Im still placing the hand enchant thats a small help but overall I am extremely preturbed that engineering is SOOO far behind every other craft. But after dropping 10k to get it to 505 I'm pretty much stuck.
