Ok I love this class. I have about 50 days playtime and that's all bgs, arena, or raids. I don't stand in town and troll and go afk often. I can't get that same feeling from any other class. The new changes are actually kind of fun for PvE and my dps is around the same other than trash. For pvp though, I'm at a total loss. I went from 20+ KB top 3 in almost every BG I ran to 2-5 kills. It's sad and frustrating. I even went as far as to finish my rogue and gear him out just to perform decently in pvp again. The other hunters I see in BGs are doing poorly too (for the most part, I've seen some decent BMs).

What do we do now? I know aspect of the fox will help a lot, but why not just add it in for 80? Would it be that imbalanced for us to be able to move and steady shot?

I don't mean for this to sound like a QQ. I love my hunter and I do fine with it in raids still. Anyone figure out a good strat for PvP other than lolKC?

Pretty much have to sit back and let everyone else do the work. You can kind of "dot" up with serpent and BA, possibly through multi shot with serpent spread into a crowd and get some extra damage. Explosive shot could be good but I don't think it's damage has been updated yet. There are a lot of buffs coming to hunters in beta but none of those are live yet I don't believe so we'll just have to wait for them.

You could trap launch an ice trap and possibly force proc a LnL and unload on someone, but that's about it really.

You can be a bit of a pain in the ***, especially if you spec into all the trap talents, by making people blow all their trinkets and escape abilities with your ranged traps and wyvern sting.

I'm still kinda miffed that they gave readiness to MM though, I used to have so much fun keeping people from doing anything useful in battlegrounds or arenas, and the ranged traps would have added so much to that!

Yeah I've been just kickin back from PvP for now. I still they think that if they gave us AotF at 80 (just replaced viper with it? @_x?) we'd been better off. Oh well, back into the wild.

So far there doesn't seem to be much we can do except try and hang back, fire off a few odd shots and let other people do the fighting. We still don't have a decent stun, and with the new focus changes we can only get off two or three shots before we are out of focus. It's almost impossible to be able to use steady shot in a battleground situation, so it's hard to recharge that.

Having the pet doesn't seem to be much of an advantage when Mages, Death Knights, and Warlocks have them too.

I'm just hoping things are a little better at 85. Right now I'm little more than cannon fodder that is at a disadvantage to every other class.

I expect that Aspect of the Fox and Cobra Shot will make quite a bit of difference. Until then, well, it's only three more weeks...
