Leveling :: World of Warcraft

I kind of lost interest in my Shaman, then the patch came out and I'm loving it now. I'm leveling elemental and kill things really fast thanks to the always crit of Lava Burst with Flame Shock on. The thing is, I'm finding that I'm killing things so fast that I never put down totems anymore. I don't feel like I need them since I'm killing so fast and never run low on mana. Is this a bad habit or normal leveling post patch? I'm level 46 btw in case that helps.

Always been that way, except for elite/group quest mobs/bosses.

I'm missing having a fire totem worth putting down :/

I leveled a shaman to 71 ages ago, but want to get him to 80 now. Any suggestions for spec? I've been leveling enhancement, but I have to admit I've payed pretty much no attention whatsoever to the changes.

You'll be fine with either.

Play what you think is fun -

Either a melee attacker with big gusts of wind that give devastating gobs of damage, or a walking volcano/thunderstorm.
