I hit 80 as a BM so I thought that it was time to add a core hound to my stable. I went after Uvuros, a level 70 elete. To my surprise my cold trap didn't work, I got feared and almost died. I know that he has been trained, but I wonder how. Any thoughts on how to do this?

Yes I went and tried to do this too. He resists freezing trap and scare beast. Basically the best way is to either try it and pray he doesn't fear you and feign death if he does, heal up and try again. Or else get a priest to give you fear ward.
Or lastly, there is a spawn of uvuros that walks around that is a 69 non elite that is easy enough to tame and looks the exact same.

A common strategy when taming mobs that fear is to tame a 'trash' pet. Pop BW, abandon, and tame!
