I'm wondering, since everyone will be able to fly in Azeroth, how will this affect the DK stronghold? Isn't it only accessible to DKs for now? If people can fly up to it from Plaguelands, I wonder if Bliz will add a sort of "force field" or something around it?

I believe Acherus is phased for DKs such that nobody else can reach it ever.

You may be able to fly to it but it will be empty.

On the beta I flew into Acherus as a Paladin. Nothing really for you there but training dummies and some vendors, but you can get in.

And I don't see why they'd bother keeping you out.

As for the phasing, I think the "final" phase of Acherus is actually what everyone else is in always. Until you finish the DK quest chain, you are the one out of phase, not them. Which makes sense, since they'd otherwise have to have two phases that were completely the same.

I'm sure anyone who wants to can go up there. It will be all OOOH SHINY to people at first, but after a week or two, no one will care. Just like no one makes a big deal about going to moonglade, where druids train.
