...or is Protector of Frigid Souls the only 80-epic caster shield found in 5-man content, other than the world drop Zom's Crackling Bulwark (which isn't particularly good)?
I've had a decent main hand for ages, but I'm still using a staff because I can't find a shield to go with it. Are there any other options? I'm getting sick of half hour queues for PoS (compared to the five second queues for HoR).
On a related subject, what enchants should I use when I make the switch?

HoR has an offhand you could use. I used it a little while before I got the one from Marrowgar because no shield would drop for me anywhere else (besides the one I got from ToC25, which I...lost somehow? lol)

Frigid souls in normal pit and the off hand shrivelled heart from heroic HOR are the only good offhands before raids

Good things come to those who wait, eh? I got a good cloak from Tyrannus on the way, which looks to be the best from 5-mans also.
I still can't get in heroic HoR. My totem is probably holding me back; I'm still using Totem of the Thunderhead. I'm not sure I'd be confident healing there anyway. I'm not completely confident healing heroic FoS to be honest.
Bracers seem to be another odd slot. The only one I can find is Limb Regeneration Bracers from heroic Drak'Tharon. I'm using +hit bracers till I can get a replacement (still better than any blue I can find).

Unless you want to get something crafted, you might wanna take a look at the PvP bracers. Because of their high item level theiy might still be a significant upgrade despite having PvP stats.
Now that you can trade Frozen Orbs for Crusader Orbs getting something made isn't all that expensive anymore.

Wow, those crafted bracers are stupid good! I'll have to save up for some of those. I'm a bit skint right now because I've just bought my epic flying and I'm trying to save for a Wyrmrest mount. Thinking about it, I'm not sure the Drak'Tharon bracers would be much of an upgrade over what I have already (http://www.wowhead.com/compare?items=47580;49787;37788 - and why didn't anybody tell me wowhead's database was so good?).
I've done a few FoS heroic runs successfully now (still no amulet); some of the trash in that place is harder to heal than the bosses, those wraiths especially. Still, I've managed to get through it, so long as the group knows what's what. My big nemesis right now though is Garfrost in PoS. Any tips for that fight? There's so much movement going on and I end up wiping the group because someone moves out of los just before a big heal was about to go off.
I got the emblem totem at last, and I'm able to queue for HoR, though I haven't tried it yet. I'd love to get my hands on that snowflake. The 2nd trinket (I've got Tears of the Vanquished in the first) is actually the only blue left in my slots now (I'm using the alchemist's stone still). I could get the emblem one (which is nice for the int it gives), but I'm a bit skeptical about the +sp active effect. I can't think of where I would use that cooldown. I'm overhealing with most of my casts, and the times people die is when that big heal I'm casting comes slightly too late. Hence the haste cooldown on the snowflake is very appealing to me right now; I can see that saving lives, literally.
