So, Zam, I've been main spec Frost for a week or so now, and in that time I've gotten 4p T9, and a lot of gear with ArPen and Haste.
I want to switch my offspec from Blood to Unholy, and see how that goes. Now, according to EJ/Wowhead, the spec I should be using is one with a Frost subspec, and without Reaping. Is this accurate? Also, as my gear stands right now (as I don't have any other gear but a 2hander), would I be terrible as Unholy because of my Haste/ArPen?

This is a tough call based on EJ info, since they say go Frost when you have 4pc t9 AND a proc weapon. But elsewhere they just refer to T9. I'd guess blood but it is possible that the Frost sub spec will be better.
Blood gives you more Disease crits, more Wandering Plague procs, 500 or so AP, crit and threat reduction.
Frost gives you haste, strength, stronger ITs and stronger DCs/SSs/Necrosis/diseases.
Either way, the difference shouldn't be huge I'd imagine. If you are unsure of what to go with, go Frost without Reaping. You could try using Rawr, too. Once you get better gear, you'll be respeccing to Frost anyway, so you might as well just stick with it even if it might be a small DpS loss on bosses. You should see a DpS increase on AoE though.
