And back on topic, today I broke 20k gold.

Now I'm debating if I should splurge on the chopper or not...

Gratz on doing a good job of saving.

Choppers are nice, but I enjoy having the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth. Even though I have Jeeves and dozen's of scrapbots in my bag, being able to pop up the Mammoth on my main is great. I did the math for my alt though, and decided I will just keep the engineering repair bots only for him, and maybe I'll get that chopper as my second big ticket mount for my main.

The other thought is epic flying. I'm assuming you already have it on all your 80's? If not, I'd give that some consideration. It's your choice. What ever you get will be great.

Yay, I got something interesting to post!

By now, our guild has downed 4/4 in both 10 and 25-man Icecrown Citadel. I personally have downed 2/4 in 10-man and 4/4 in 25-man. We got the 10-man achievement for killing the Bone Spikes fast on Marrowgar and the 25-man achievement for killing Saurfang before he casts his sixth mark.

Edit: Oh, and this also means I got my Ashen Band of Wisdom, which was a slight upgrade from what I had. I can't wait to get exalted with the Ashen Verdict, though.

Not an accomplishment, but more of a challenge...

Has anyone healed a heroic instance as shadow without having to pop out of shadowform? I'm talking just using shield and VE... ok, maybe preloading a POM before the pull would be allowed.

*edit* I ask this because of a recent run I did through the IC instances with some guildies. We had four priests and a war tank (It was priest's night out Smiley: lol.) The one priest that was "healing" wound up not doing much as the heals from VE were thick. =)

I'm pretty sure I could heal VH heroic as shadow with VE. Not sure about any others though. That one sticks out as having very low damage output.

Just got my Traveler's Tundra Mammoth!

Decided I wanted one, so I relogged on all my characters and bought gems with triumphs+honor (stone keeper shards) and I ended up with around 50-60 various epic gems. Now I'm probably gonna save up to the chopper, always wanted one of those :)

Gratz. I have found the mammoth very useful, and since I'm the healer, I like to be able to provide repairs as well. It's also great for restocking reagents and selling your junk while on the road.

Yeah, it's awesome. Shame I'm broke, otherwise I could have powerleveled Engineering and had a bank also. Mwahahaha!

Only thing that bugs me about the TTM is the fact that it's so big that often I click the vendors instead of quest-items. And it's too big for some openings (no innuendo, I promise!) but I suppose I'll have to learn to live with it.

Got my Merrymaker title also.

We have a similar thing in my family except instead of the upper grill it's a big piece of slate you just heat up really hot and cook your meat and veggies on. Traditional little raclette dishes go on the bottom for melty stuff. Looks a little like this with slate instead of granite. We don't do it for Christmas per se but always some time Christmas week. :)

None of them could even understand the most basic of sentences in English.

I mean.. seriously, how can you not know English?
So basically I spend about 4 hours sitting at a table staring in front of me and eating.
Oh yeah, and I don't like wine so no boozing either.

At least after that I got to spend a few hours all alone listening to music and reading. Smiley: smile

I killed a nicely geared mage who was attacking the xroads all by mahself. Three times.

Hey, it's an accomplishment for me. It's taken me a long time to feel confident if I come across someone 1v1 on my priest. Usually the best I can expect with DPSers is to hold them and surive until I get help. But Smite spec FTW.

We do turkey for both thanksgiving and Christmas, the only thing I am sick of at this point is mashed potatos... Looking forward to the honey baked ham for New Years ^_^

Grats :) I usually hesitate to attack them because they usually have a couple rogue buddies just waiting for me to flag...

I nabbed 6 rare elites in just 2 hours ^_^ 3 in northrend and 3 in the outlands. I feel bad going after the elites in Sholazar, I'd hate to kill one in front of a hunter who has spent months trying to tame it.

My husband and I rent at the moment, so we milk it for all it is worth. :) But the elites are not too bad, I just turn on the NPC scanner, pop a movie in the dvd player, and casually fly around till all the bells and whistles go off.

Before you scoundrels and Teacake litter our pretty forum with more posts about food, let me post some more accomplishments I obtained;

-First of all, I'M ON A BOAT, FOTHAMUCKA DON'T YOU EVER FORGET!
-My pall and I worked out a whole mathematical formula for our pants-system (our alternative version of 'DKP') which should make loot gain as balanced as possible by making it easy for newer players to reach an average level of pants while you need to be seriously hardcore to remain at the top. We've put the whole thing in an excel file which should make it a lot easier for me to update the pants weekly in the future.
-Today I bought my T10 robe. Now I need another 95 badges for the headpiece, after which I can regem some stuff, equip both my setpieces and BoE shoulders, look cool again and start saving for my gloves.
-I got honored with the Ashen Verdict and upgraded my ring again. Revered should take me a bit longer.
-I 'offtanked' Patchwerk (for the entire fight) on my Death Knight in PvP spec (with tanking gear). I have to say it was quite fun.

Seeing as my next raid isn't going to be until the 3d next year, I think those will be all my accomplishments for quite some time now =(

You have to admit though; the whole pants thing is amusing, even if I don't completely understand it... Grats anyway!

I picked up my lvl 28 priest (priest #4) the other day to try out the random group finder for low lvls and to try the smite spec. I haven't touched her for over a year, she had never learned Devouring Plague... At any rate she is now lvl 30 :)

It comes from the name of our guild; "In Meus Pardus", which is a spoof of all the latin guild names around and means "In My Pants". You should see the reactions of new players when I tell them their pants have dropped =P

After a bit of a hiatus from wow, I started playing on my priest, got Blood Boil Lancet on my first FoS run. And since have gotten 2 pieces of T9. He's fast becoming my best geared toon. (Also pulling over 3K dps on one of the bosses in VH got me excited.)

Got two new rings, the Saurfang 25man and Ashen Verdict - Honored ones. Also replaced my 232 pants from Jaraxxus with the T10 ones, and (assuming my Primordial Saronite sold) I'm back to 12k gold again. Reached 72 on my druid and dusted off my protection warrior to do some tanking. Also, got my new title which makes me Chef Dysphoria. Woho!

1089 DPS!
I finally broke 1k overall DPS on a heroic run (while healing). Smiley: grin

I have come close sooo many times before, but never quite hit 1k overall. It took a random group in DTK to do it. When I tried to do it with my guildies, things died too fast for me to really make an impact. The group I randomed into had a good tank and mediocre dps, averaging around 2k dps.

On the last boss I actually placed third on dps, dots and fiend before we morphed pushed me well above 1500 for the fight.

Nobody came close to dying... even though I was pushing my DPS, my focus was still on healing.
