Have you guys checked out the MoP talent/spec calculator thingy? General first impression is a mix of being underwhelmed and confused.
Feral (DPS) Druids won't get Savage Defense, Thick Hide, Frenzied Regeneration or Survival of the Fittest (crit immunity), meaning Bear Form will only give us a health and armor boost, at the cost of pretty much all our DPS. Nice.
Guardian (tank) Druids won't get Rip, Shred or Savage Roar, meaning Bears will probably do more DPS in Bear Form than Cat Form. Also very nice.
Basically, there'll be very little reason to ever switch between the two forms. You can't even off-tank dungeons anymore as a Kitty since switching to Bear Form won't prevent the boss from one-shotting you with a crit, and you'll have no mitigation cooldowns, no blocking and no health regen. Switching to Bear might delay a wipe by one or two seconds.
Good game, Blizzard. You sure know how to make hybrids feel like hybrids.
It should be noted that non-Prot Warriors and Paladins apparently don't lose their ability to equip a shield and block with it. Only Druids get shafted there. Warriors also retain their Enraged Regeneration since it's tied to the talents, not the specialization. In essence, you can make an Arms Warriors off-tank better than a Feral Druid. Which is @#%^ing hilarious if you ask me.
And I bet it's all because of PvP.
Also, assuming it's not an error, non-Resto Druids lose their OOC resurrection.
