Ruining the mood, or swallowing his sausage?

Either way, I'm interested.

Seems like sausage is pretty damn luxurious 'round these parts.

A friend is having assorted sausages sent from Bavaria, they should arrive next week or so.

Ya, I went there. Real food talk.

Cured spiced meat wrapped in the intestinal lining of a pig.

Many countries consider sausages a delicacy and luxurious dish.

It all depends on the sausage and how you serve it. There's vast difference between a BBQ/hotdog sausage and a thinly sliced garlic sausage, or a less thinly sliced beer sausage.

My favorite is moose sausage from Sweden. It goes EXTREMELY well with a beer.

Oh yeah, I know the difference Maz. I'm not uncultured, despite being American. Smiley: tongue I've just never considered a sausage, even a good one, to be a luxurious food. Granted I don't think beer is that luxurious either, but we all know how I feel about beer.

When I think luxurious, I think wine, steak, lobster, maybe some pasta, stuff along those lines. For Valentine's Day a couple years back, John made me an amazing dinner. It was fettuccine with grilled lamb and a cream lobster sauce, and he bought us a decently priced bottle of wine to go with it. Was very tasty and very special to me. Smiley: smile Way better than going out to eat.

Home made luxury dinner is awesome which is very much what I'm going for.Although I'm not a particularly good cook (or even more than mediocre) I do really enjoy going all out for these sort of things to make it something really special.

On that note, any ideas for an appetizer are also welcome.
Oh, and appetizer sounds so cheap and stupid compared to amuse (pronounce in French).

I have to be honest. It takes a lot to **** me off most of the time, but for some reason, I'm really @#%^ing pissed that my thread about the merging of the class forums got locked because "BDT".

I mean, I don't think it would have bothered me had it instead been "Closed because <Link to related thread in =3>". But for some reason, I feel rather irked.

Edit: That "I see you Shivera" thread not being locked isn't helping.
