Then give me a hug, 'cause I need one. And don't judge my poor grammar when I've been working all day on a paper and am emotionally exhausted.

So because I'm not new, it doesn't matter that I skipped a page or two at some point? I'm cool with that.

Well, no one was going to check. But since you've admitted it, I'll have to ask you to go back and read them. Thanks.

Final Fantasies have got some really awesome songs. At least the older ones do.
I think NObuo Uematsus magical FF sountrack-making skills were hidden in his moustache.

I really enjoyed the newest FF's soundtrack. FFXII's was kinda weak, but FFX was interesting.

Right now, I'm playing ME2 (kinda bum rushed the story of ME1, because I have limited free time and actually taking time to do things wasn't okay. Just used a guide for decisions that would carry over and played on casual, lol). I've already had 3 "shivers" moments because of how poignant the music was.

First was the loader screen, while I was configuring my settings lol.

The second was when Shepard is falling to the planet, and the silence with heavy breathing transitions to no breathing with music.

The third was when the new Normandy is revealed.

Also, I loved the song that played during the credits of ME1.

Video game music? I f*cking love video game music.

The song during the "press any button" screen on Mass Effect 1 was decent at first, but once you found out who Vigil was and what his job was (the song was called Vigil) it took on an entirely new meaning and I love it now.

In terms of Uematsu, I will always love To Zanarkand from FFX.

The Halo series, surprisingly, had some of the best music I've heard. Like this:

The Scott Pilgrim vs the World game had a good song.

And, can't forget Bayonetta. Nothing like anatomically incorrect witches quad-wielding guns and wearing hair for clothes slaughtering angels and eventually God herself. The Final Boss music and the boss right before were both extremely awesome.

Also, kind of randomly, one of its middle bosses had epic music as well. Though for that one the awesome really is at 2:45.

I love that game.Smiley: laugh

But movies have some pretty awesome music, too. Like Finding Nemo (no, really!)

Sherlock Holmes had epic music as well.

Also, that one sing by Clash at Demonhead was awesome in Scott Pilgrim, too.

Watchmen had an awesome opening.

And, of course, we have to do the Time Warp again.

IDrownFish is an acceptable addition to this thread. But OMG spoiler tags are amazing for formatting posts with videos.

And yeah, Vigil was awesome. That song actually reminded me of the Draenei, too, which made it seem even more peaceful.

To Zanarkand and Hymn of the Fayth are always going to have a special place for me. I occasionally find myself humming the latter, especially. :P I really loved what they did with this in FFXIII and it's other incarnations throughout the game. Gave it really nice continuity imo.

DA one and two had some really nice scores as well. I haven't transferred my iTunes library to this computer yet, or I would go look and figure out the ones I liked in particular. Everyone (who isn't depriving themselves of one of the finest gaming experiences of the past 5 years) will remember this one though.

Skyrim's theme is awesome . Morrowind's and Oblivion's were good too, but they have nothing on the choir used in the new one, imo. I especially love that they have the same song in versions using both the dragon language and in English (God I'm such a nerd) .

Xenosaga had some really nice music too and Spoiler Text.

And let's not leave out MMOs!

Some of my favorite tracks from FFXI: , and . I might as well note that I actually have all the soundtracks for the game up until Wings of the Goddess (and I didn't even much at all in Aht Urghan). I have so many good memories of the music from that game... Whenever I hear the Windurst theme, I have an active battle with myself about whether or not to reactivate my account. So much time spent catching moat carp there whilst talking to my LS friends... Good times. Smiley: smile

For WoW music, I love Dalaran's theme , Lament of the Highborne will always be iconic now , and the Wrath trailer's song . I also love Azuremyst Island and Eversong Woods' theme .

While we are at it, might as well throw in some of my top favorite songs from animes. :P

Bleach: Never meant to belong. I linked this one, because it's the closest I could get to actually delivering the visual emotion generally associated with the music.

Naruto: I actually really loved the first seasons' closing them. Wind by Akeboshi.
Shippuuden introduced some REALLY nice music, imo.

FMA: Kyoudai.
And from Brotherhood, I really love Yui's opening.

Death Note had my favorite anime opening of all time. NSFW (they are naughty and say the F word)

Soul Eater has one of my favorite soundtracks, but I can't find my favorite (soul playing the piano, or the jazz that plays in his inner world).

Now I demand that everyone listen to every song. :P

Fairy Tail has the best overall soundtrack, but the intro/outros aren't that good.

FFX has some awesome music, even if it's one of my least favorite FF games. Of all the games I've played, though, the music from KH1 and KH2...

KH 1 Ending (music starts around 0:30)

KH 2 Ending (music starts around 2:00)

I suppose that's true. It's just a bit overwhelming seeing all those spoiler tags lol.

Also, I <3 Winco. It's this employee owned grocery store here, that's really cheap. I can spend $50 a month on food and it lasts me about a month. Went shopping today, and bought a huge hoagie deli sandwich with $5, that is way too large for me to eat in one sitting. So for $5 I get at least three meals. Smiley: grin

Uhh, I pay £2 for 2kg of rice, 32p for 1lb of tomatoes, £2 or so for a kilo of lentils, and spices aren't that expensive, either. With small amounts of additional veg (whatever's on offer), I use 1 pack of rice a month, the lentils last aaages and that amount of tomatoes lasts 4-5 days. No shop nearby where I can buy meat and I'm too lazy to go more than once or twice a month, but 2 portions of chicken are something like £2, so that's not that bad, either.

Cooking yourself saves a lot of money.

I also have the soundtrack to the KH games, lol. People should post more music. I'm in the mood to feel epic.

I'll do a more comprehensive selection Monday from work ... because I have that kind of time ... but here's a song that seems to make it onto all of my playlists. It's a vocal remake from the first (and I think second) Suikoden, and even after like fifteen years it's probably my all time favorite track from a video game.
This whole album is amazing, but like I said: This track is my all time favorite, even if it is horrifically Engrish.
