Know what's really fun?
When the email address alias your department distributes to the public just stops working. And when it randomly ends up as your job to deal with it, even though you aren't an IT person, because your division doesn't have IT support. And when the people in the organization who could possibly help you can't be reached. And when this happens in the middle of one of the worst weeks possible.
Yeah, really, really fun.
strong chance that you wont end up having the credentials to fix the issue. if you do have them, break stuff. you arent IT and it will teach them a lesson.
mail servers are tricky little whores, fragile as fu
to boot from what ive gather from talking to the IT guy.
