Maybe next time.
I'm a big fan of the strong pale ale (tremens) and strong dark ale styles though (nocturnum) although given how easily available Duvel, Chimay blue and Gulden Draak are for being (some of) the best of those styles the Delirium beers aren't very high on my wishlist.
I'm more interested in getting the harder to get Belgian beers like Rochefort and St Bernardus or the American and British beers.

You should try the Nocturnum. Its really, really different from others dark ales.
Not exactly better, but really different.

I tried this one this weekend. Its...ok. Not going to buy again, though. There are much better Lagers out there.
But I remember that someone was looking for importing brazillian beers...well, thats one.

That would be it, though I won't click a TVTropes link because they are deathtraps.

If I drink lager/pilsner/other cheap beer I drink Hertog Jan or Palm.

Can do.

I've had it before. IIRC, it a decent dark beer without as much of a bite as something like a porter would have. Other details escape me, as I had a couple and was too busy being happy to remember stuff.

Hey guys, did you know that if you're drunk in the game, mobs seem to be of lower level than they really are?

Never knew this until now.

Sorry, I was too busy getting drunk in real life to notice anything in-game. Do you know how hard it is to see anything on a blurry screen? Now try blurry screen and blurry vision.

For the Bears out there, what do you prefer to gem/reforge towards? Dodge, agility, mastery, stamina, mix of everything?

I'm considering getting the dodge trinket from Coren (this one), but I'm hesitant to give up my Alchy trinket since it has a nice bit of mastery and stamina. I know stamina can be soft-capped nowadays, but bear in mind that I'm tanking 5-man heroics here, not raids. Stamina saves lives when you have to pop Frenzy Regen.

Last time I checked, it was mastery. But I can be utterly mistaken. Maybe agility? Definatelly not Stamina.

So, I took my Druid for a spin in Lost City of Tol'vir and this happened on the last boss:

http://imageshack.us/g/41/wowscrnshot092011033054.jpg/

Notice the colored pillars of light with different raid tags on them. I asked in the chat (might be too small to read) and at least one other player saw them.

I updated Deadly Boss Mod today, does anyone know if that might be it? Smiley: dubious

Edit: Brisin, EJ mentions that stamina and agility is important, but haste can be reforged to dodge or crit/mastery, depending on preference, it seems. As for gems, they say agility or stamina with agility being recommended. I don't know if that post is outdated by now, but they haven't removed it, so I'm guessing it's still valid.

I'm floating at 32% dodge now, sans agility buff, and 152k health unbuffed. Depending on the group setup, I'm at around 160-180k health in dungeons, plus the dodge from the agility/strength buff.

The reason I'm asking is because I feel like I'm taking a truckload of damage every run now. Armory is in the signature. Should be updated with my tanking gear. Oh, uh, ignore the reforges on the Fluid Death, bracers, necklace and cloak. I'm using those for my DPS set as well.

I say Stamina should be "avoided" because you will already have lots of it naturally, plus the trinkets. I would say gem for agility, reforge for dodge/mastery.
But, in the end, it all depends on what do you tank and with what type of healers you run with.

You'd leave that trinket alone.

You reforge into dodge. Take the worst stat and reforge into dodge, order being haste->hit->exp(if over 26)->crit->exp(if under 26)->mastery.

I didn't reforge my Fasc Boots as I wanted the expertise. If you want to and are comfortable with your gear set up you can reforge into expertise if it really low. Same idea if your mastery gets really low. As an agility class and the ability to self buff 14% crit via talents and Pulv your crit will never be low enough to want to reforge or gear for it.

For gems I use red: agi, blue: agi/stam, yellow: agi/dodge. I use agi if the socket bonus isn't agi or stam.

On the plus side, a friend got me into his alt raid on my priest and I got the neck off of Domo and the rest of my embers for the legendary quest. The solo part of the quest is freaking hard though! I spent at least an hour on it earlier, and I kept dying to trash... Going to try and get some rest tonight and then go back to it tomorrow and see if I fare any better.

Also, Brewfest started and got the kodo on my DK and the crit trinket on my mage on the first tries. Smiley: grin
