Either one or a few classes are going to be better at healing and some will be better at tanking due to their cooldowns or whatever than the others which automatically makes them the designated healers and tanks, the content is going to be so easy (and thus boring) that it doesn't matter or all classes will have to be so similar that it doesn't matter what you rolled as because they're all the same anyway.
It looks like they're trying to take gear out of the equation too. The problem with that is that suddenly, there's no reason to do anything anymore because there's no progress. All you can do is do the same stuff you could from the moment you hit level cap, with a character that is exactly the same as it was as you hit level cap and nothing will change, ever. That's going to be boring as @#%^ in no time.

Y'know, there are reasons to do things at end game besides acquiring gear.
There's the dynamic events that occur all over the world, and their outcomes can be different based on how well you succeed or how poorly you fail. The dungeons are going to each have a story mode and three different exploration modes, and your strategy will change based on your party make up. That will make them different. Probably not every single time you go in to the same dungeon, but I think it'll make it different enough that you'll want to go do them multiple times without it feeling grindy. Besides, I've read from multiple different reviews of the game, that leveling up new characters isn't boring or repetitive like with most MMO's. It's different enough (for one person even after six months) that it's still fun each time you make a new character, because the decisions you make when you create your character change your character's story enough, AND the decisions you can make while leveling can be different enough, that it's an entirely new experience.
If you're going to make accusations on the game, at least do some research into it first. Just watching videos of the different classes at work, I can tell you that the five I've looked at (the casters, the engineer and the ranger) are vastly different. Hell, play style based on which weapon you have equipped can make the same class play very differently, from what I've read. The one dungeon video I've watched so far, these dungeons aren't going to be easy. The second room these guys walked into was literally covered in traps. There are puzzles you have to solve.
I'm trying hard not to sound like a fangirl here, especially since I haven't even played the game yet, but you should give me at least a little credit in my taste for games. I tried Rift, it bored me. TOR was fun and exciting for a while, and then I got bored of it because it was too much like WoW combat wise. I've tried plenty of other MMO's over the years, and aside from TOR, thus far none have even come close to holding a candle to WoW. I feel like GW2 actually has a shot of outshining WoW, because it does things so differently and from what I've read, it does them WELL. The only other MMO I've ever said that about was TOR. Only time will tell of course, but I think it's unfair of you to completely shoot a game down without giving it a chance.
