<Andrew> Sounding can be fun, so long as there's no feedback.

Also, Androo is good at giving massages. I kind of want to keep him around for that.

Yeah... there's good pain and there's bad pain. That sounds like bad pain to me. =x
#6809 Jun 05 2011 at 5:31 AM Rating: Good
<Androo> Actually, if you start out small the pain is minimal, and it can be quite... stimulating.

If I ever get tired of every other type of stimulation available, I'll keep that in mind. To be fair, I'm more likely to try sounding than BDSM.

I'm gone for barely a week and you guys turn the thread into weird talk about non-boobs, -beer and whatever the third thing is.

And yeah, the picture of me was in the Warlock picture thread. I'll probably upload some new soon from when I helped my dad chop down some trees this week.

Holy hell, northern Europe is on fire right now. Luckily I had lots of beer to help cool me off. And I finally got to try a Leffe, Aeth. Blonde, slightly cooled. It was sex.

I need to go out and buy some more soon.

Maz, we seriously need to trade beers. Denmark seems to have at least 2 good breweries (see my earlier post, 2 pages ago or something) and I want to try some of those. And I know a lot of really really really sexy Belgian beers.
(also, if you ever see a bottle of Duvel, buy it. If Leffe blonde is sex, Duvel is a threesome with Kate and Simone Simons)

You'd be surprised how light BDSM can be. It really just depends on a lot of things. Hell, using a blindfold and some light bondage can be considered BDSM.

And I just have to say, I freaking love my shadow priest. I ranked 70% or higher on every fight last night except Ascendant Council and Cho'gall. I even scored a 93% on Maloriak, which really excited me.

And I got Theralion's Mirror! Yay! Smiley: grin

What do you mean by "scored"? Average DoT up-time? Percentage of maximum theoretical DPS? I think you mentioned how you scored in another post and I was curious how you measured it.

Nice, Pigtails!
Sounds like Shadow Priest is the way to go fo your playstile, right now.
Wich is awesome. SPs are awesome.

About this sounding thing, it remembered me of a surgery I had once. It envolved a probe in my urethra. It was the second worst pain I ever had in life, kidney stone being the first. I would never, ever, try anything that could remind me of that.
My ***** hurt just by thinking about it. Urgh.

Edit: Astaring, she is talking about ranking @WoL. When you upload a report to there, there's some part of it that is a ranking. It shows you how you fared in dps opposed to other players (I think top 200 or something) and keep track of your personal records.

Here is an example:

Yeah, what Brisin said. Our raid leader is using our WoL ranking to judge how we are performing. Ideally he wants us to be at about 70% on all fights, and once we hit 90% he knows we're ready for heroic modes. It's not a perfect system, but it's more fair than judging us against each other. Not that that would make a huge difference for me since SP are usually at or near the top of the dps charts anyways.

Does it compare you to your own specialization/class, or to everyone? Because, if it's just your class, it's not TOO bad of a system. But if it compares you to everyone then you are bringing in balance issues to rate players, which just isn't cool.

How are Druids faring right now, anyway?

Also, Shadow always looked, to me, like it would be horribly infuriating. Even more so when they added the orb system. Is their main nuke still the channeling spell?

That ranking info is much like taking your dps and making a comparison with this:
http://stateofdps.com/index.php?data=patch_dps&raid=10N&samples=200&spec=dps

BTW, are Subtlety Rogues any good in pvp? Because they are the worst dps in every boss, right there with Frost Mages. But the latter are killers in pvp.

edit: Digg, the rank compares you with your class/spec/raid size/raid mode/boss. So if your dps is x in 10 man, x' in 10 man heroic, y in 25 man and y' in 25 man heroic, it will show you diferent rankings.

About how are druids, Balance Druids are alright. Usually in the middle, with some fights near the top ones. Feral, not so well. Usually in the bottom, with some fights near the middle.

Sub will probably always suck in endgame PVE. The problem is that their PVP focus is around strong openers (meaning Ambush), which they can only do every 30 seconds in PVE. There's no way to let them use their strong burst regularly without making them ridiculously powerful in PVP, and you can't up the rest of the damage for the same reason. But taking the burst away from them pretty much eliminates anything unique about the spec for Rogues.

So it seems Blizz has just accepted that sub is a PvP/leveling tree.

That is, unless they cave and give hemo/backstab a bonus-to-npcs affect.

Which, coincidentally, is probably the only way we'll actually see Frost Mages become viable. They are all about controlling a fight. If you give them high damage too, then you make them WAY too powerful. Control just doesn't matter for bosses though.

Class and spec. So I get compared to the top 200 shadow priests in the world for 10man normals.

Compared to balance druids and the eclipse mechanic, shadow priest is a walk in the park. It's still a priority system, but it's a lot easier to manage the buff and have near 100% uptime. To maximize dps, what I do is start out the fight with SWP, use my shadowfiend, cast Mind Flay until I get my 5 stacks of Evangelism for Archangel and set that off, then Mind Blast (most of the time I have an orb at this point), then cast VT and DP. After that, it's just a matter of casting MF until MB comes off CD and refreshing VT and DP, preferably when the Empowering Shadows buff is up. Oh, and you want to cast SWD on CD once the mob/boss has less than 25% health. Multi-dotting is easier than with Moonkin, because you don't have to be facing the mob to cast SWP and VT. Moonfire/Sunfire you have to be facing them.

From what I've seen on WoL though, VT is our biggest dps. Mind Flay I suppose you could consider our main "nuke" although it is considered to be a DoT for practical purposes. It's also the worst dps out of any of our spells, which is why you want to cast MB on CD regardless of if you have any orbs or not. The only reason for using MF at all, is because crits lower the CD on our SF and it gives us Evangelism and Archangel procs. For movement phases, spamming DP and SWD on CD is what you want to do, while periodically pausing to get off a VT or MB. They're both 1.5s or less, so it's still fairly safe to do that even during Atramaedes air phase.

Unless they've hotfixed it, I believe Sub rogues are very useful in one or two PVE heroic raids (Valiona and Theralion I'm thinking of in particular). That being said, yeah, the damage is very lackluster in PVE. It's a common PVP build though, unless I've completely lost my mind.

I don't know how it is now, but it was reappearing in pvp when I left (largely due to a ton of buffs). But mutilate had been the most common spec. But I am betting a lot of that had to do with the short wrath fights...

Sub also suffers in BGs and against any combination that can lock out stealth effectively, because they are HEAVILY dependent on it. It really sucks if they can't get their ambushes.

In my mind sub rogues will always have that little niche where they ambush you half way between two nodes; not only getting you killed but also getting you ******* at by other members of your team for fighting on the road. Smiley: rolleyes

Im leveling a female DK tank right now. Almost 85, probably will get it today still. Been pretty fun to play her, even on regular LFG.
I want to change her name, though. Sissy is not a cool name, heh.

Just changed to Aethelfled, since it wont let me use Æthelflæd.
