So apparently the dubstep I had on (on my earphones) was so loud they could hear it downstairs. Hah.

- Duvel (Belgian strong pale ale)
- Westmalle Triple
- Rochefort 8
- Gulden Draak (Belgian strong dark ale)
- Chimay Grand Réserve (Belgian strong dark ale)
- Hoegaarden Grand Cru (Belgian white beer)
Somewhat randomly chosen 6. If you think I'm missing a great one that I should really try, swap one out. I do miss my Hoegaarden though, the imported stuff is crap. I'll check what's available from your list, try to get a few of them at least and fill in the rest with local stuff. Red racer is great, and since you like IPA's I'll send you two local IPA's that have become my favourite beers.

There is lots of french names because Quebec has good laws for setting up microbrews. I sort of doubt I'll be able to get many of those. We'll see.

Rochefort 8 is a triple, like the Westmalle so I'd go with the 10 to get the variety.
And I'm mostly curious about IPAs because there aren't any here. :P
I'm mostly limited to either mass produced crap or Belgian beers here so I'm aching to try some different things.

I got a quote that seemed reasonable, but my new shipping quote is too high for this to work, so I'm going to try and do a bit more research. :(

I think I found one, although I might only be able to send 4 beers rather then 6. 2KG max.

Need to figure out the best way to package the beers anyway, international transport isn't exactly gentle.

I'm trying to pull an allnighter here.

I'm trying this new sort of coffee, Nescafe original or something. It was a mistake buying that. It tastes like gunpowder.
I'm completely wide awake, but my legs are killing me. Every time I stay up late it's m,y legs that are killing me.

What's up with that.

I've got a killer headache.

BUT... At least my sleep schedule is back to normal. And I just got a message from the store saying they're shipping my rig now.

Hell yeah!

I must confess. While searching for awesomewin music, I came across this and now I'm playing EVE Online again. The video is old (from the graphics upgrade a few years back), but the nostalgia triggered some kind of hidden urge to play something that doesn't involve swords and elves.

This is definitely a different experience from Rift, Warhammer, World of Warcraft and all the other MMORPGs I've played over the years. I remember trying to get into EVE a couple of years back, but I got bored with it after a few months. This time around, though, I think I've finally aged enough to appreciate the boring aspects of the game for their sheer beauty.

Also, flying around in a spaceship the size of a skyscraper, firing nuclear warheads at unsuspecting space pirates in frigates the size of 747's is kickass. More kickass than hitting space pirates over the head with a Hammer of Righteousness, if you catch my drift.

I've redownloaded and re-subbed to EvE this weekend too. Not really logged in yet though.

I've been playing on and off since retail, but after having 4 accounts and selling (for ISK) most of my highly trained characters over the years, the only one I have left only has 40m skill points.

I've not played in over 18 months, so i had fun redesigning my character and looking at all the crap I've got lying about!

Top, top game, but really difficult to get into as a completely new player. Most of my old contacts have all left / traded characters.

Thanks for the link. Better start looking for some bubble wrap. And resist playing with it. Smiley: grin

And I had the best night of sleep I've had in a very very long time. Lasted almost 11 hours as well.

I went to the outdoors of Vermont this weekend. I had some free Miller Lite. It was cold and free, so not a total loss.

Vermont is buggy this time of year.
