It's a pretty good look into the game.

And here's why you shouldn't do a ghost run (no kills):

Oh and if any of you guys have a recommendation for a game, do tell. Although I'm no fan of western RPG's, shooters, RTS games or really anything other than action adventures and racing games I guess.

So I've got Gruut's Inferno, Brewfist's Fear, De Molen's Hel & Verdoemenis (Hell & Damnation) with some fancy barrel aging, Jessenhofke's Maya, Satan Red, Left Hand's Fade To Black and Duvel Tripel Hop for dec. 21st. That's going to be a horrible horrible hangover Smiley: lol

Hey, just because most of the songs I like are about doing various horrific things, doesn't mean I don't like songs that aren't about that.

Also, the Dead Space games are spectacular, it's third person survival horror (think Resident Evil 4), not sure if you're machine can run them, I also highly recommend a game pad for them, or playing on a console, because playing third person with a mouse and keyboard, I've never been able to do it *well*.Dark Souls, as I've already said, is probably the best RPG to come out current hardware, it's not a western rpg, so there's that. Alice: Madness Returns, adventure game sequel for American Mcgee's Alice. Bunch more I can't be bothered trying to explain properly; The Batman Arkham games, Bastion, Borderlands 2 (I'd describe it as first person Diablo, and I know you hate fps games, but dear got this is amazing), Rayman Origins, Trine 2 (I need someone to finish the game with, it's more fun co op), and finally, The Witcher series is supposed to be spectacular, but I've only played about half an hour of the first game.

My racing games experience is about 10 years out of date, since the last thing I played was Burnout 3: Takedown.(if you can find it and have a working ps2/xbox, get it.)

Also: Can't stop listening to/watching this
Also Also, found myself a christmas present :D

Probably won't get skyrim until the price drops some more. How was Oblivion?

I've never played Morrowind, but I've heard that Oblivion was closer to Morrowind than Skyrim was. Oblivion was certainly pretty good, and some parts of it are more customizable than Skyrim, if you're into that kind of thing. In addition, the Shivering Isles expansion is regarded as one of the high points of the series.

You've said many times now that you hate clear vocals and that had clear vocals so I was a little surprised.

And as long as the games aren't too heavy on the processor I'll be fine computer wise. Although I'm not particularly interested in buying a controller for my PC, the Xbox controllers already run about €36 so they're not exactly cheap. Although being able to play old N64 and PS2 emulators and whatnot on that would be interesting.

Also, Cattle Decapitation is more the music I expect to hear when you link to something Smiley: tongue They're cool but after about 3 grindcore songs I've had enough for the next week, they all sound a bit too similar to each other. Then again I've been drifting more and more to prog over the past year, I still appreciate some good death metal every now and then but more often I just listen to proggy stuff, old Genesis, Yes, King Crimson and the like.

The thing I like about UneXpect is that the vocals are really Schizophrenic, not so much as Sikth Vocals. My musical tates are broadening, but it's still almost exclusively metal of the extreme variety. Cattle Decapitation are probably my favourite band right now. I just find their speed and technicality amazing. Plus their lyrics are brilliant... "When I try to examine my @#%^ in the mirror for polyps or whatever you call it, I ERUPT".

I'm basically the opposite of you. I struggle to listen to old metal, it just seems stagnant to me, which I guess makes sense, since nothing new comes out.

Not my cup of tea. It's not fast enough. Generally speaking, what I look for in music is: Can I kill someone while listening to this song? Why? because being jumped sucks, and I found that Death Metal is generally what I prefer to listen to while I'm getting booted in the ribs by a few people. So once you finally get back up, it's good to be as angry as possible.

Only problem is, getting jumped while listening to music means you have to replace a lot of MP3 players. This is why I'm glad I'm in Canada now, where I can walk down the street at 2 am, and there's no one around to hassle me.

Edit: It's also good running music, so when they pull a knife I can leg it as fast as I can. That's only happened twice though.

It makes me sad that people who are non - native English speakers can write better English than I can. I assume it's because you guys are taught it as a formal language, assuming you have and English class in high school, and you actually use English on a fairly regular basis. Also, this may seem like a retarded question, but I've been curious about this for about 10 years and it just popped back into my head. So, in Scotland we have a class called "English" where, surprise, we're taught English, but what do you guys call your study of your own language?

This is my third night with no sleep and my fourth day without food. Feel like I'm dying.

English classes in school taught me precious little. Most of my English comes from Harry Potter, lord of the rings and this bloody forum. Yeah, I'm serious, this forum taught me more English than school ever has.

Edit: phone with danish keyboard makes for funny typos.

I have finally found an amuse I want to make for Christmas dinner. I found 2 even.
One will be wild boar paté on rye bread with apple syrup, the other will be cauliflower cream with bacon.

Now I just need an entree and I'll have the whole thing done, well, thought out anyway.

Edit: I may just go with a salad with duck and some orange dressing or something as entree. Also Xsarus, what vegetables would you add to turkey filet, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes? Doesn't need to be too heavy considering that we'll have the amuses, an entree, the main course of turkey, a cheese plate, then some schwartzwalder kirchentorte and finally tea or coffee and some cookies or bonbons. (Hey, you don't get to go all out that often, better make it count)

Edit 2: I should also mention that I have Jolly Pumpkin's Oro De Calabaza for the main course (and entree) and Rodenbach Caractère Rouge to accompany the dessert.

Overall it'll be fairly fruity with the two fruity beers, the apple syrup in the amuse, possibly orange in the entree, cranberries in the main course and of course cherries and cherry beer for the dessert.

Ahhh alright I'll look into it then. Not that I don't want to try skyrim, but spending $15-$20 on Oblivion versus $55-$60 on Skyrim really factors in. Neither are brand new games at this point, and if the gameplay is just as good on the older one I'll start there.

In the meantime, I think it's time I played through DA2 finally. Smiley: grin

The reason the camera "adds 5 pounds" is because of the curvature of the glass, it's why models are all so sickeningly skinny and fashion photographers shoot at waist hight. And this butt, perfect as it may look (and it does look exceptionally delicious) has most l;ikely been shopped to make it a little larger and rounder.

That picture reminds me of Beakman, but it quite obviously is not. But the background and the neon green lab coat are totally a Beakman thing. That was such a fun science show.

It was a science show for kids when I was growing up. It's very silly, but yet educational at the same time. it also is apparently on netflix now.
