Ugh, ya. how's the coast Pigtails? You guys get some strong winds ya? Both of my last 2 commutes have taken twice as long between the flood roadways and the broken down buses. I imagine things are much worse out your way though. Stay safe.

I'm renting a room, not a whole apartment, so $300 is pretty fair. Another set of friends were potentially going to offer me $400, but they couldn't decide if they really wanted another roomie or not. Only downside is I have to get rid of my cat because she has very severe pet danger allergies. =/

Yeah, it let up around 8 or so this morning, finally. The Chetco river rose about 10 feet over the course of one day, if that gives you any idea. And the schools were closed today because of the flooding. It's insane out there.

Work, diablo and sleep. Also not really anything to say and a lack of beer to make me say stuff regardless.

I've been tired as hell this week, still not used to getting up at 5.

Now that I have a job, I'm getting a new laptop as soon as I have a little saved up and start WoW again.
Been excited for Pandaria, but unfortunately haven't had the chance to try it out.

Also, thursday today, weekend soon! I'm saved.

Have you guys ever put tape on a hockey stick? Imagine doing that for 8 hours, thats pretty much what my job is like.

Yeah, I can't do naps. I knew this before I did it, but the exhaustion was so overwhelming that I couldn't resist trying.

I even set two alarms: one at 20 minutes and a backup at 30 minutes. Apparently, I turned off the 20-minute alarm while I was still semi-unconscious, and I didn't even register the backup. Woke up six hours later with the backup alarm flopping around on the floor, having vibrated off the table.

I'm a heavy sleeper. Once I slip into deep sleep, which happens fast, I'm essentially unconscious. I've slept through thunderstorms, earthquakes and alarms. Other times, however, I wake up 5 minutes before my alarm is supposed to go off. I've no idea who's running the show while I'm absent, but they're very inconsistent.

GODDAMMIT, I took a nap!

Oh the joys of having a @#%^ed up sleeping schedule.

I was on a camel safari, cut me some slack!

What ads?

It bugs me when I need to watch a two second ad for a four second YouTube clip.

So I don't.

Also, who the hell cast Deckard Cain as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises? Finally got around to watching that movie and what the hell? Are you telling me no one from the production team recognized that voice during voice recording? You'd think someone in a production team for a Batman movie was somewhat knowledgeable about games and such, especially classics like Diablo. I haven't played Diablo in 12 years and I recognized it instantly. Couldn't stop laughing.

Anyway, I stayed a while and listened... and watched.

To my knowledge (and the unofficial Diablo wiki's), Michael Gough has voiced Deckard Cain in all the Diablo games.

It's a pretty unique voice, or so I thought. Turns out Tom Hardy does an excellent job at it.

Looking for a new scratch pole for my cat since he's almost destroyed his current one in the past year and a bit but goddamn there';s some extravagant scratchpoles... I mean, sure, yeah, I'll pay one hundred and fifty euros for something that must take up more than half a room... goddamn.

Edit: @ Pigtails, I'm probably getting this one. At 4'8" its plenty high and only 1.5x1.5' base so it's good fr my fairly limited space. Reviews on that site also says it's sturdy and not easily wrecked which is good because although Ahmu isn't heavy he's pretty damn strong and he's pretty much pulled his current one to pieces.

Doesn't hurt that it's pretty cheap as well at €45 (yay 10% first order discount and free shipping)

Ack, sorry about the double post there. I hate it when I get errors when I try to post.

People shouldn't use the fireplace in a bar unless they know how to open up the flu. The bar tonight for karaoke was filling up with smoke, so we'd open up the doors, which completely negated the effects the fire was having on the building. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I am now under warm blankets in my bed!
