I just ran 13 miles in 1:52. It was pretty awesome, but I'm sore now.

I meant to take lots of pics last time she was here too, didn't really happen.
And I am still a gentleman, I wouldn't take photos if she doesn't want it.

Even then, when I drink I just get a lot more flirty. I'd still be the type to hold open the door for a lady and all that gentlemanly stuff.
Geez, is it so hard to understand that I'm a nice guy?
#6687 May 30 2011 at 2:22 AM Rating: Good
Well, if someone would have told me even six months ago that you were a nice guy, I would have been skeptical too. =x You don't exactly present yourself that way on the forums lol.

Aeth has a hard shell, but inside he's full of chewy caramel.

Or so I've heard.

Maz, you deserve a beer for the awesome quotes about me. Smiley: grin

And talking about beers, Xsarus you still want to trade beers?
Here's a list of personal favourites, just let me know which ones you are or are not interested in.

- Duvel (Belgian strong pale ale)
- Westmalle Double & Triple (obvious, Trappist double and triple)
- Rochefort 8 & 10 (Trappist triple and quad)
- Gulden Draak (Belgian strong dark ale)
- Chimay Grand Réserve (Belgian strong dark ale)
- Hoegaarden Grand Cru (Belgian white beer)
- La Trappe Quadruple (Trappist Quadruple)
- Weihenstephaner Dunkelweiss (zomg, German beer!)
- La Chouffe (Belgian strong pale ale)

Almost all of those are strong beers (the German one isn't) and the quads are as sophisticated as good wine. Absolutely delicious and best when accompanied by a good meal.
Also, do you have a tulip and a chalice?

And I would mostly be interested in IPA's and microbrews because those are so hard to get here.
From what I've looked around on BeerAdvocate Red Racer IPA, St-Ambroise Stout Impériale Russe, Aphrodisiaque, Les Trois Mousquetaires Porter Baltique and Péché Mortel (Imperial Stout Au Cafe) look very interesting (And what's with the endless French names?)
I have no idea about their availability though.

Woo! My wish came true, at least partially.

Starbucks still isn't here, but apparently they brought 6 different kind of drinks to finnish shops.
Have to go around and look for those today.
Gotta catch 'em all.

Weihenstephaner Dunkelweiss is such a pretty beer.
Dark orangy brown with a nice, thick cream coloured head.

It tastes good too.

And comes in 0.5L bottles <3
It's also really smooth and you don't notice the alcohol. It's a pretty great beer to sit back and relax while drinking it, just enjoying the beer.
Having Mastodon's Crack The Skye album playing helps with the relaxed feeling though. Brilliant album, can't wait for their next one. Seriously, if you don't know the album you should go listen to it right now. It's progrock/metal/trippy stuff. It's also about Russian Czars.

Edit: On a sidenote, I bet that playing Mastodon while using LSD or mushrooms would be pretty awesome. The music sounds like it's been made just for that.

Yo Æth, just occured to me, we're not taking any luggage apart from hand luggage, so no beer presents, but do you want any other British stuff?

And not really.

Edit: I'd like you as a present though Smiley: sly but that's more German than English, isn't it?

He'd like some toffee.

Isn't that what you Brits are all about? Toffee? Imagine me saying it with an exaggerated British accent. Toffee, my good man! Toffee for the Queen!

I need to crack open some beers soon.

Heh, decent toffees are 30p, good idea.

We're more about the fudge (or as you Scandinavians say: FOODGE), though. Can't get good fudge around here, but the cheap kind is available from 15p.

Also, by this point I'm pretty much nearly as British as I am German. Sometimes I also think I'm Nepalese or something but then I wake up and it was some sort of weird dream.

Today in my dream there was pretty loud dubstep. No one here listens to dubstep (apart from me lately), so either my dream was ****** up, or my roommates are trolling me.

Either way, you'd still make for a damn sweet present Smiley: wink

And I'm easily seduced with candy, candy and beer <3

I must confess. While searching for awesomewin music, I came across this and now I'm playing EVE Online again. The video is old (from the graphics upgrade a few years back), but the nostalgia triggered some kind of hidden urge to play something that doesn't involve swords and elves.

This is definitely a different experience from Rift, Warhammer, World of Warcraft and all the other MMORPGs I've played over the years. I remember trying to get into EVE a couple of years back, but I got bored with it after a few months. This time around, though, I think I've finally aged enough to appreciate the boring aspects of the game for their sheer beauty.

Also, flying around in a spaceship the size of a skyscraper, firing nuclear warheads at unsuspecting space pirates in frigates the size of 747's is kickass. More kickass than hitting space pirates over the head with a Hammer of Righteousness, if you catch my drift.
