To clarify: I just happened to have a couple of toons on Ravencrest, but I'm not tied to anything. Y'all need to work out a reasonable time if you want this shiz to happen. I doubt any of us will log in at the same time without prearrangement. You tel me when, I gets you healzors.

Too many alts: Here too. I've noticed that I'm rapidly running out of steam with WoW. Aside from a couple of titles and morging gear on a couple of alts, there's not much more stuff to keep me interested. Even the raiding this tier (and last) is pretty "meh", IMO. Mostly when I'm logged in, I'm tabbed out (sometimes in a queue) and working (emails, proposals, typesetting, bleh).

Although, I may start working on The Defiler again. I think my DK only has, what, 40k rep to go.... at ~100 rep average per match.....

When my new computer gets here I'm thinking my WoW time will be greatly reduced. Going from the limited gaming of a Mac to a brand new zomg-wtf gaming laptop opens up a LOT of possibilities.

I'm also open to suggestions for new games to try =) hint*hint

If we're all getting burnt out on wow, lets all start playing rift or something.

I'll be ok without MMO's until the next MMO revolution or something. Which might take a couple of years.

I should check out the system requirements for some of these other games sometime. Don't know what my old box will handle.

I've tried talking to you about a time in game Therion, but you keep going afk and ****. Smiley: tongue IIRC, Protein said weekends aren't very good for him because of his little ones, but evenings on weekdays would work after 9pm pacific or so. Wednesday or Thursday would probably work best for me, because I have raids on Monday and Friday, and Tuesdays are my kink parties. Horse never really got back to me on a time that works for him, and Xsarus is just now expressing interest.

Oh, and if you want to use your hunter or another toon you can Therion. I decided on my shockadin, and I'm pretty sure protein rolled a priest, though I'm not sure what spec he was planning on using.

As for another MMO, I'm mostly still happy with WoW. At the very earliest, I'd be willing to give it up once I have my legendary. >.> Which at the rate I'm going, probably won't be until December at the very earliest. And unless my financial aid gets reinstated *fingers crossed* I won't be in a position to buy any new MMO. Although Rift does look nice.

Well, as far as MMOs we do have SWTOR and GW2. I've had a little bit of beta time on both and they're interesting for entirely different reasons. But both are still a ways from release. Best guesses are SWTOR end of year, GW2 late Q1 next year.

Haven't had any time on Rift yet but from what I've seen it looks so much like WoW (same combat mechanics, similar story telling scheme) that I don't see the point really.

I like the idea of casual lowbie pvp if we can get the timing right. Might be entertaining =)

edit: Either of those nights are do-able for me. I'm not progression raiding this tier. Thurs/Fri are tough due to music stuff. Wed would be better if given the choice.

Best trailer for an MMO, at the very least.

She's a lvl 11 disc. priest (I think), should probably get her to 12 at some point (isn't that when you get the scream?).

Tried to find something that could either heal or kill stuff depending on who shows up. I'm being versatile! Smiley: schooled

That and I wanted to try a toon I hadn't really PvP'd with before.

And nobody's playing a rogue yet? Suckers.

Edit: also, someone should name their toon Aethien or Æthien so I'm sort of there as well.
Oh and kind of sorta waiting for D3 as well, I bet that'll be fun.

I was trying to avoid melee, but a sub rogue at those levels is probably fun as hell (with a couple of pocket healers) =D

+1 suggestion

You guys are going to have to go on ahead without me for this week at least. Just found out this afternoon when I got back from my academic advising appointment, that a new tenant has been found for our place and they want to move in on the 20th. Our landlord wanted to give us more time, but her hands are kind of tied because she really needs to get someone who can pay their rent in here. So I probably won't be posting much or playing WoW much for the next week. =/ Thankfully, J definitely has someplace to stay and I think I have someplace to stay as well. Unfortunately we have to split up residences as people don't have enough room for both of us.

Oh, and my shockadin is level 13 just for the record. Tried to hold off leveling, but the quests in Westfall are really interesting. >.>

I know. And I'll try not to make you worry. =x

On top of all that, I have to wait on hearing from my English adviser to finish my petition for getting financial aid reinstated. If I don't hear from her, the earliest I will be able to see someone to get the petition finished is the 20th. Classes start back up on the 26th. I'm also close to 150% of the credits needed to finish my degree, so I have to fill out an extra petition for that. And I'm so close. After I finish the two incompletes from last year, I only need 3 more classes to graduate, provided the English department will okay the C- I got in one of the lower division required classes. I'm hoping they will, because then I'll be able to graduate Winter term, which will make it more likely that I can get the second petition approved. Otherwise I have to wait until Spring term.

Pfft. It's not like I can really play WoW on my laptop anyways. >.> It's so painful I'd rather just not play WoW. Also, thankfully there's a job fair for students on the 23rd. Hopefully I can find a 20 hour a week job there to help out. I could potentially pay for school if I only go part time if I make that much.
