I hope you're not directing that question at me, Protein.

You know there are two things I don't share.

Beer and bratwurst sounds really good right now. Such a damn headache.

Totally, but I'm settling for homemade katsu chicken and gatorade.

No sympathy from me. I'm still dealing with a first degree chemical burn under an armpit with stubble... Not comfy at all. I'm having a real winner week so far too. First I burn myself, then last night I stubbed my toe and split the nail about half a centimeter, and then today I locked my keys in my car for the first time in about 10 years. Luckily for me my car insurance covers that, so I didn't have to pay anything for a locksmith.

Um, I'm going to be sorry I asked...

Nair. =x What's weird is that it only happened on one side when I did both. I think I figured out why though. I have a candidas (yeast) skin rash on various parts of my body (usually spots that collect lots of moisture), and I think I must have had a bit of it on that particular spot and that's why the depilatory cream burnt me on one side and not the other.

Our shadowpriest got the last of her 25 shards for the legendary weapon last night and due to us having no other DPS casters in the raid, I am now 3/25 towards mine! Not bad seeing I am resto :) Although I am actually main-spec moonkin, but we need the heals :(

Cover that katsu in gravy for added awesomeness.

Le sigh. My raid leader, who is also a good friend rage quitted tonight. He's one of the tanks for the progression raid in our guild, and apparently he's been getting really stressed out with no help from some of the other people in the group. Mostly I just feel bad for losing him as a guildie, but part of me is also upset at the prospect of losing my raid group. I can always raid with my shadow priest in the alt group, but it's less progressed (2/7 instead of our 5/7) and in addition to that, I lose my priority for the legendary. I have 12 embers, and I won't be able to get anymore until the mage in the alt run gets all of hers at the very least.

On the plus side, I did get an invite to a raid group on my mage. One of the official once a week raid groups. So I'm excited for that, but I'm pretty down about my main raid going kaput.

So yeah, Æth is here.

Rostbrätl is actually way more awesome than Bratwurst, although with my dad, either will be drenched in beer. My dad is like a barbecue magician.

You do know ... that when you cook with vodka and rum and such ... the alcohol evaporates? I mean, maybe if the alcohol is added when the cake is cooked and cooled AND you put enough of it in to soak the cake thoroughly - usually done over a period of days whilst the cake is 'maturing' - then it's maybe possible to feel the effect, though you'd have to eat so much cake that it would be self-defeating ...

Cake vodka, not vodka cake.

And it's actually a myth that the alcohol evaporates. SOME of it does, but most of it doesn't.

Though, I will say I was wrong about cake vodka and vodka cake.

I just want some damn chocolate cake.

Me too. Chocolate cake is awesome. And I didn't get enough of my birthday cake. Living in a house with two boys, and they ate half of it by themselves. I think I only ended up getting three pieces over the course of a week before they finished it off. Grrr. It was my birthday cake, you'd think they would have saved me the last piece.

The last time I tried to bake a cake, it was a Rum Chocolate Cake.

Fun fact: You can catch an oven on blue fire. Just, you know. Pay attention.

35% is a lot, though. I was totally wrong about it being a majority retained, though. I was thinking it was like 35% lost.

I'm rewatching Avatar, and it was the episode where Toph is first introduced.

Best episode.
