First piece of T4! Gloves, of course. Got some Assault put on them as soon as I got back to Shatt, and they're good to go.

Got my first Kara drop after 3 months of running.

Drape of the Dark Reavers. Need to put +12 AGI on it though, heh.

I would recommend waiting a couple more weeks and getting the s3 sword. Main hands don't seem to need any rating atm Smiley: inlove.

I will also try to get enough points for my s3 shanker (if I do indeed decide to stay mutilate). The damage difference is definitely worth waiting just a couple weeks imo.

Finally find a friend to do 2v2 Arena with. it was definately an eye opening experience. Our first time through we went 3-17. We're getting better though.

All s3 weapons need 1850 personal rating. Some tooltips aren't showing it, but it's true regardless.

it has been statistically proven-ish that netherspite dropping that sword is a bug... the 'spiteblade' is actually on taerar's loot table, replacing his previous 'nightmare blade'

thats why you havent seen it, go be old school and get some phat sword action

My first post in this thread, but I finally dinged 58, and got my leather working to 300/300!

Now I have to decide if I am going to go straight to Outland now, or wait another level. My goal is to grind on Shattered Hand mobs until I am friendly with Honor Hold to make the rep gain easier.

My Finest Rogue Accomplishment (so far)

Feel free to utterly ignore this, as my rogue is only level 19 at this point. I rolled him Friday and played him up till Sunday (actual /played of 1 day, 4 hours).

Thus far I don't have many accomplishments, and my only one I even consider worthy of mention is that myself and a 20 Palli were in Ghostlands and decided to see if we could take on those two huge giant thingies (one at a time, obviously).

We find one (they are 22 elites, I believe) wandering the dead scar. Stealth up (and not seen! WOOT!), backstab, Palli jumps in and starts taking Aggro. A few CP generators later and I hit Expose Armor. Palli one shots him when he had a quarter health left.

I mention this as an accomplishment for several reasons:

1) It showed me that rogues can absolutely destroy mobs higher level than them if done right

2) Gave me an idea of how rogues can function within the context of a party (I did my first 17 levels or so solo)

So, I hope that's an accomplishment in light of this thread. It was for me, regardless.

I'm now the proud owner of a Netherwing Drake. Seeing as we (Alliance) are outnumbered roughly three to one, I'm stoaked. Though, I was quite surprised how friendly the horde were in the cave.

I was going to get it yesterday, but a mate had a LAN on and ran out of time. Was worth the days wait too.

So after about 5 months away from WoW, I log on to my Rogue today, using a WIP UI, I manage to break even without pressing any buttons for my openers, kite a hunter around his own trap, made 3 players jump off the edge of cliff at LM when I faked it.

Glad to see BGs is still filled with incompetent idiots that can't beat a rusty Rogue that can't use his openers.

Anyways, my Rogue is pretty much shelved at this point, re-rolling a Hunter/Shaman, kind of the opposite of Theo. :D

If you aren't gonna put in effort, why should I?

Blizzard's definition of balancing is a cycle of:
Over-buffing, over-nerfing, over-buffing, over-nerfing, then finally resulting in the original product when the cycles for each class offset each other.

Ok, the accomplishment is in the cheating. start off: Bought a 2k rating 3v3 for 300g cause i can't wait another 2 weeks for S2 MH. Started out at 2008 not sitting pretty at 1880. Went 9-1. heres the kicker, I'm geared (pvpwise) for about a 1600ish rating at best, give or take 30 pts either way. My resto druid guildie, while a greta healer hates pvp has like 80 resilience, and doesn't know much about arenas. We picked up some 4/5 merciless warlock friend of his who is actually geared/skilled for this level rating.

We won our one match at 1950.

It was VS. a Frostmage/MS warrior/Paladin team, all epic'd out the ***. (pvp goodies). I called mage dies first cyclone pally, and that was that. Knowing when to DT ftw!
I dont know if our matrix is simply that much stronger that theirs or if we just clicked. But it was awesome WINNING a match at that rating. And given our class/spec i wouldn't say the lock carried us, although her gear/knowledge did help a lot.

Thanks again for this board teaching me about keybindings. I now do it on all my characters.

Dude...who are you running Kara with? A Prot Warrior, 8 healers, and yourself? If you're doing 67% of the Kara damage by yourself with 70dps swords, I assume some of your fellow raiders were asleep or slapping their chests for most of it.

Not hating on you or anything, but that's a bit extreme.

I would recommend waiting a couple more weeks and getting the s3 sword. Main hands don't seem to need any rating atm icon.

I will also try to get enough points for my s3 shanker (if I do indeed decide to stay mutilate). The damage difference is definitely worth waiting just a couple weeks imo.

As Theo said, it requires personal rating which I still can't get my arena team up to that level. :( Still scratching my head on how to improve where they are not hardcore pvp-er..

Seem so far from me the S3 sword, so I guess S2 will fulfill me for quite some time.

Oh i def understand what you mean no offense taken. The meters where horribly skewed in my favor form the start though. we began on Shade - no aggro. and we wiped once, so i got two chances to maintain my 700ish dps (600-780 average range on steadier bosses) I left the meter running just to see how much of the total night's damage i'd do. i was laughing when i linked it for sh*ts and giggles. but yeh...67% shouldn't happen. ever.

Tonight's Kara run went exceptionally well. After cleaning the cobwebs out of our heads on Attumen (three people died, still a one-shot), we one-shot Moroes, Maiden, Opera (Oz), and Curator. Total deaths, including the Attumen fight, came to 5. Unfortunately, we ended up sharding over half of the drops we got, but at least I got a Void Crystal out of it!

After Kara, I started doing 3v3 with a new group of guildies. Setup is me, demon lock, and holy paladin. We started off dropping 3 games straight, but we ended the night at 12-11, which isn't bad considering we faced a group fully decked out in S2 three freaking times. I'm sure that we'll only improve with practice, and since we're all fairly new to Arena, we'll definitely improve once we get our hands on some PvP gear.
