4/9 down in BT tonight, Naj, Supremus, and Akama one-shotted, two attempts to get Gorefiend down because people are ******* stupid and can't do constructs.

No drops for me. Saw Shadowmoon Destroyer's Drape go to a druid putting up 1k DPS on Gorefiend of all fights, and who can't even get down ONE construct.

Other rogue in my guild got Nether Shadow Tunic from Supremus.

Happy for her because now I pretty much have a free shot at that chest.

Really, really upset about that cape. My brother (usually right in front of me in DPS...I usually sit at #5, he's #4) was 0.9 DKP off.

For reference, the druid that got it sits at #13-15 in terms of DPS.

You might be able to pick up the chest from archimonde if it drops.
We only did 3/9 bt tonight, raid couldn't get their act together so we wiped for an hour on Naj. Which by the way, is something we've never done. Gonna go to gorefiend tomorrow then the first four in hyjal. Hopefully if everything goes well we can get a few attempts at archi and then a full raid time for him on Sunday.

Went to kara last night. Due to some snaffu with the scheduling only 8 of us showed up. We decided to go in and just clear attumen anyway, just to see if we could. We managed it pretty easily and smoothly.

I topped the damage meter again. But last night was the first time I broke out over 500 effective dps. Smiley: grin

great night, 1 shot gorefiend and rage, then wipe on anetheron the rest of the time. Healers weren't on their game tonight. I picked up insidious bands, and another rogue got both of the fist weapons in hyjal tonight. So Im #1 in line for the sword if we can get our act together on sunday, assuming it drops.

Just picked up my S3 Helm, 4/5 now. Next pieces to upgrade (if I can get off my Druid) will be my Shoulders or Weaps. :)

Awesome night. One shot Hydross and Lurker than 5 shot Leotheras the Blind. Thats a guild first kill for us. The only other Rogue in our raids got her T5 gloves so I should be getting the next Roguey Item that drops. ^.^

Grats on Leo. I never did a lot of T5 (I pretty much skipped it entirely, in fact, other than helping my guild get down Lurker and Al'ar at the beginning of progression), but I remember the Leo fight sucking.

Maybe just because 98% of my guild is retarded.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that skipped most of SSC/TK.. about three months ago I went from my ****** starting-ssc guild to help a guild kill kael'thas and move onto Hyjal/BT.

Yeah, I don't really regret it, either... I missed some nice loot and stuff, but I worked and got some really good grades in class, so I've got a 3.8 GPA to come back to at the end of the summer.

Graduating *** Laude at U of WA is gonna be nice. Smiley: grin

I'm enjoying the chance to see all of these different, and actually very interesting fights(Morogrim is not one of them...) Sure I love getting shiny gear but its the fun of raiding that I'm in it for so I'd actually rather not completely skip SSC/TK.

The doesn't mean I don't love the fact that we're doing the first bit of Hyjal, that is ridiculously fun.

Got to jump into my guilds ZA run for Halaazi since that was last boss for the night and they needed another DPS.

My first time fighting and it was lots of fun, nice to see a relativly simple encounter after having come from Leotheras.

Just absolutely destroyed a 2k rated warrior.

Was playing on my RL friends 1460-ish rated 2v2 team (he's a mage who's very new to the game, so I'm helping him learn), and ran into a double warrior. He kept the 2k rated warrior Poly'd long enough for me to get the bad warrior to like 20% HP, then sheep broke and he went down.

I burned evasion, then a second evasion to get the first warrior down.

Vanish -> Premed -> Garrote -> Ghostly Strike -> Gouge -> KS and tanked him down the last little bit.

I had like 50% HP left when the first warrior died, BTW.

Ended with 40% HP.

This just proves that RNG is a *****.

Edit: Anyway, I enjoy it because I don't need to really play very hard to get us wins, and my friend likes it because he learns a lot by having me on the team giving him pointers after the match with what he could do better.

Finally replaced my good old Helm of the Claw. Had it for, euh, I don't even remember how long.

Didn't play for a week due to holiday, but yesterday I managed to do some heroics. Got 92 badges now, so I will have new pants soon.

Last week I finally found some time to do Kara with my new guild. Got outrolled by a hunter (in fact, by two hunters) on Romulo's trinket. Got me pissed, until I afterwards checked the spreadsheet and noticed that it does less DPS than my current Hourglass...

Gouge was to prevent an immune on KS. If I let him out of stun, I was *******

that was smart... never thought about it. I really need to do more pvp... Where's a better place? BG to farm honor and marks for items or practice arena?

BG will be more fun.

I practice 1v1 in duels, but I actually keep around a couple 2v2 teams so if people want to 2v2 with me, I can use one of my "practice" teams to do it.

I actually have 3, now that I think about it. One in the 1400s to get my friends points that I use to play with anyone that doesn't have arena gear, and two in the 1600s that I use to play with people that are hardcore about arena.

I use that also, but I usually don't dot them up before I do so(unless I have at least 75 energy), b/c if the garrote dot breaks gouge, then he dodge/parries/resists KS, then you're really boned.

I wait until garrote ticks, then gouge/KS. I usually GS tank them for a bit or back off and 5-8 for a sec to gain energy before Gouge/KS.

To be honest, it doesn't matter. It proves that someone didn't have a good enough response to me to actually post it, so they're karma camping me, thinking that it'll **** me off.

It's a nice change, actually. I feel like one of the normal people now.
