Last night I got my epic flying mount and became exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive.....Wewt!!
Finally updated my damn belt to Belt of the Silent Path last night. Now just need to upgrade the trinks (and hopefully the cloak from Aran) and I'll win a cheese sandwich!

Jealous that your server has the anvil up.

There has been a concerted effort to be first to open up the phases on my server. At least Horde-side. Everyone reminds each other about doing ALL of the dailies, helping out or explaining the fastest ways to do them, and seems like most people are grouping up to do them faster (the ones that can be done in group anyway). Never seen such "we can doo eeet" spirit in WoW before.
And that Panther... damn it's tempting to just mine the mats, drop mining and power-level JCing up to get it... so nice it's almost worth it. But I'll be doing that for BSing on my pally, so probably won't on the rogue.
How far is your sever on the progression?

Last check was 79% done on the anvil. I'm hoping for early tomorrow morning, if not tomorrow night.

20%...due to the fact that the alliance outnumber horde at _least_ 2:1, and they feel obligated to let no dailies take place.
An hour ago, on my European realm the anvil was on 71%.
Will take another 2-3 days, or more. Now many people are exalted with SSO already, less people are doing dailies.
I'm not sure if I like this system. Maybe nice for a change, but I don't wanna be so dependent on all the other players on the realm. Just gimme that vendor ffs.

I finally got around to leveling my lock-picking all the way up to 350, Now I don't feel stupid when I can't open a chest or lockbox in an instance.

Picked up Garona's Signet Ring off Curator, T4 gloves dropped aswell but i got outrolled :( noooo
at 56, hit 300 herbs/mining, trekked to hh to up them, killed a boar for 1134xp woot!

Anvil open on my server; now to find some poor scrub that will spend 30 badges for 2-400g so I can make my Shadowsong Panther.
Arcanite Steam Pistol is mine after only our second A'lar kill (only person in raid who bid for it which was odd as we had 2 hunters 3 rogues and a dps war in raid aswell)

Exalted with SSO, and 375 JC (a few days ago).

Realized I don't COMPLETELY suck, finally got my damage meters working and it seems I sit rather comfortable at the top, got a lot of room to stretch my legs (yes, I still have a few blues here and there, not for much longer though)

However, I now know I can't raid lead worth a damn since my groups seem to get stuck on Maiden and Aran (couldn't even get to spite, we spent so much time on those two)

You ARE missing a big part of the game. First, there is no real challenge outside of instances. Second, you ignore the multiplayer aspect of a MMO game...
Find yourself some friends mature enough (well, I don't know how that works on the horde side, heh). I can tell you that our raid community includes a lady rumored to be 60 or so. From my experience grownups tend to play late - god knows what you can meet during daytime (my wife complains about that often).
But it is very easy to spot kids - usually one sentence from them is enough. And just be ready to kick them the moment they start acting up.
My rogue alt finally hit 40.
Finally a horsie (going on foot when you're used to a netherdrake blows) to ease the traveling, though it took me some traveling to get it (I wanted a black one, went to Elwynn, saw the vendor didn't have any and had to go to Menethil for it).
I also leveled my engineering and made a few items for my gnomish membership thing, however I am a bit stuck now as the last requires mithril, which I cannot mine yet myself (terrible luck with nodes and haven't gone out with the sole purpose of mining yet so my mining is lagging behind a bit) and is insanely expensive at the AH.

Offspec night in ssc, just a random raid during the week. Was pulling about 1100 dps as SHS. Four bosses, no wipes then Gruuls just for fun. Finally got my badge loots though :D Picked up my pants/chest and got them chanted and gemmed shortly after. Can't decide if I want the belt next or the ring though.
