So I'm level 57 if I think I was like halfway through to 58 before I logged out yesterday. I usually manage to get 1 level per evening of play unless I really don't play for long.

Soooooo, my Blood Charger quest is a-coming pretty soon and I've taken a look at the list of things needed.

150g - Check
40 Runecloth - Check
10 Sungrass - Check
1 Arcane Catalyst - Check, that's like saying 50g
1 Crepuscular Powder - Check, that's like saying 150g.
1 Azerothian Diamond - Check, yay for jewelcrafting.
6 Arcanite Bars - Got 2 in the making, waiting to find more crystals. Will buy the last ones if I'm unlucky and can't find any more.
5 Dark Runes - Need to run Scholo, can't find any on the AH.

1 Pristine Black Diamond - Wha?... The only one I've seen on the AH is priced at 22g. Is that anywhere near normal? Wowhead and Alka both say it should be around 2-3g. I also noticed it doesn't seem to be mine-able from veins or when using Prospecting. And, to add to the joy, it doesn't drop from anyone in particular. Just elites in high level instances, AND it doesn't drop in Outland...

So, anyone got any advice about what to do with that? Should I just buy it for 22g? Should I try finding one myself? Any info is welcome.

That is nowhere near normal, at least it didnt used to be.

You can find them in great abundance in BRD, problem is nobody runs BRD anymore. That is probably driving the price up a bit.

But there are lots of them in BRD.

My server is Low/Med pop and really no one runs BRD anymore, or almost.

Oh well, I'll go ahead and buy it at 22g.

when i got my charger, they were 500g.


ofcourse that was when only 5% of eligble pallys had their chargers.
