Spellstrike or BattlecastFollow

I'm torn. I can't decide if I want to save up my materials to get the Spellstrike Set or the Battlecast set. Fully gemmed out with what I would choose, Battlecast wins out in terms of health and mana (by about 450 and 300 respectively). As a shadow priest, crit is not really something I'm looking for so the fact that Spellstrike will give me 2% more crit doesn't really matter. Essentially it comes down to how much +hit I need on my gear (Spellstrike gives 3% more), and how good the Spellstrike set bonus is (how often it procs).

Currently, I only have +3 spell hit on my gear, which doesn't matter so much at the moment as I am not currently raiding. I do have 5/5 Shadow Focus, so how much more +hit do I need to get from gear for the day when I do find a raid guild I like?

Anyone out there have Spellstrike and can give me an idea of how often the set bonus proc's? If it's quite often, then that might tip the balance as more damage = more mana and health back to my party.

Here is my armory link: http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/#character-sheet.xml?r=Kul+Tiras&n=Aeona

Nothing special yet other than my Frozen Shadoweave set, need to start hitting up the 5-mans once my exams are over next week.

So yeah, any advice as to which of the two sets to go for, or any advice at all on my gear would be great. :)

If you intend on raiding, get Spellstrike Pants for sure. I'd aim for Soul-Collar of the Incarnate if you're in a guild capable of doing Karazhan, rather than going for the Spellstrike set as a whole, as you'll probably end up better off (4-piece set bonus and -2% threat meta gem > full Frozen Shadoweave + full Spellstrike). If you're not raiding current or have a ways to go before getting to Malchezaar, by all means get Spellstrike. Battlecast is much more of a PvP set imo.

For +hit, you need 76 on top of Shadow Focus to get your miss rating down to 1%.
