Epic SpellsFollow

Hey, I was thinking today while playing WoW. And I was thinking that all classes should get epic spells. Like from new spellbooks called something wierd. Like tomes and stuff. But you have to do a series of quests and then you get to choose one of the rewards. The rewards will be 3 incredibly powerful spells/abilities, and there would be one from each talent spec to choose from. That would be awesome, in my opinion.

What do you guys think? What "Epic Spells' should there be for paladins?

This has been asked before.

Ret needs Holy Hand grenade, Protection needs a 30 second invulnerability and Holy needs AoE Lay on Hands that also heals mana.

Also every other class needs to be nerfed so that we can solo an AV team.

I wish there was an epic spell "Purge trolls from the Allakhazam forums".

Well, I don't think this is a troll. But I don't agree with the idea.

It would only widen the gap between the well-to-do and the not-so-well-to-do characters :p

Well if it's not a troll, then it's a thread that should have been kept until Friday whereupon I may have been more tolerant of it =P

I say my tolerance because obviously I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd like to point out that he's default. Most people don't get that for nothing, unless someone's camping them. So if you're right then

Well, I don't feel like rewriting everything so I'll just quote myself on the same thread in the Druids' forums. (Hence the last part about Flight Form)

The idea isn't bad as such, but I don't think it'd be that good to see those in-game.

Being a long chain-quest reward, it would only encourage people to spend even more time playing the game and would further widen the gap between a skilled player with average play time and a dim-witted moron who plays at least 8 hours every day.

Furthermore, if you had to choose which one you wanted depending on your spec, you might as well remove the option to respec. How excruciatingly frustrating would it be to go through a long chain-quest, get some super power or whatever, and then realize your guild needs more <something> which would brings you to respec later on? Ability lost, time wasted, player frustrated.

I think the only epic stuff we need to see more are things like the Epic Flight Form quest which will add flavor without breaking the game. (Since we still have to fork over 5000g for the damn training.)

So yeah, basically what Newfangle said.
