What Cat Can Learn Stun?Follow

#1 Apr 24 2007 at 7:11 AM Rating: Decent
I was in Arathi Basin the other night and kept getting owned by Horde hunters my level(49) and under (46). They put their cats on me, who stunned me and clawed me to death in seconds. It looked like King B. Anyone know what cat this might be? King B?

Nope, it was a druid.

It wasn't a druid. I saw the pets both times. There name above their heads indicated that they were pets, and they were identical cats. They both looked like King B.

Intimidation. Requires 21 points in Beastmastery. On the next melee hit, the pet will do a 3-second stun and generate a large amount of threat.

It's a great talent for both PVE and PVP!

Awesome. Thanks guys. You're right, it's great at PvP. That 46 hunter owned me hard. I even freeze-trapped that cat, and it still took me out. Thanks again!

If you like that just wait til a pet hits you with, not only, Intimidation but Bestial Wrath along with it. The pet won't be stopped by anything except either its death or yours.

Beast Mastery is pure sex, in my opinion. Perhaps we don't do 4,000 Aimed Shot crits, but when my pet can shred a Priest/Mage/Warlock in a few seconds, who needs it? Smiley: grin

Smiley: lol

That's actually very true, I can't believe I forgot to mention Rogues. One of my first PvP experiences in Outland was near the Stadium in Hellfire Peninsula. A Rogue got the drop on me, but I spotted him through stealth (Track Hidden ftw) and activated Intimidation just before he stunned me. I used Bestial Wrath (The Beast Within ftw) to break the stun, Wing Clipped him and ran away while my kitty was shredding him to kebab (stinky, rotten kebab.. the guy was undead). He managed to stun me, but died before he could do any serious damage.

My kitty literally soloed the guy except for the Wing Clip.

Um, mages going ice cube stop it. Pal's bubble stops it. If you can gain speed and stay away from it, that stops it. Stops it? Well, not completely -- but the idea is to escape the pet while BW is on, and when it turns off, that's when you fight. Potential BM's should know that smart players do have recourses; you should be prepared for them.

(OT, "Fling Panties on Britney...?" Gotta get back on Premium...! (it's a pop-up game I'm seeing atm....))
