I love my crit, i'm at 30% with talents, next level I'll be at 32%. I need a ton more HP though.... Let me know what you think.

I'd get the sword that I've got for you... it drops off of murmur in Shadow Labs. Then you can have an off hand as well. :-) (+dmg ftw).

Well, don't get too used to being able to freeze a mob in place multiple times... see new frostbite nerf which gets tied up in frost nova as well. Also, the frozen effect is much less likely to withstand a crit (e.g. see ice lance). That being said, you may be able to cast frostbolt + ice lance and get them both to crit simultaneously.

The frost bolt and ice lance is great pve but most ppl break my frozen target before i can even get off an ice lance let alone a frost bolt in instances. Here is my armory

I have the COT sword and an nice off hand but dont want to give up the +crit from the staff plus the int. Am waiting until I get the sword from kara or even from HH rep.

Yeah.... purplez ftw! But.... the blade from Murmur is easier to get and it only requires a 5 man Shadow Labs run (or 10) instead of Kara (much more difficult 10 man). There's also an awesome blade from PvP, but it's a billion arena points...

I have seen it drop frequently... it's easier to kill Murmur than it is the prince in Kara... heck, I've run SL 3 times in the same evening. Plus the 1337 blade that drops from the Prince has a 12% drop rate... how much easier is it to run SL multiple times vs. Kara?

looking okay guys - but what do you think about mine? didn't see any comments - where should I start my upgrading?

krqllebqlle I would grab the helm from the quest chain in shadowmoon although the new engineering helm is pretty good once 2.1 comes out, the incanters trousers, shattrath jumpers, bracers of havor or another of the crafted bracers

all in all you need to work on your +hit and +dmg they both seem weak (I had more at 60)

Why 120 armor to your back item? Isn't it better to get the 20 spell penetration? That way you can remove at least 1 point from elemental precision.

As for your gears, see if you can run arcatraz and grab a Ryngo's Band of ingenuity and Shiffar's nexus horn. Arcatraz is not that tough, don't know why more people are not running it.

Well, I can't say that I'm that great at evaluating your gear, since I'm still pretty new at this, but I've been trying to do a little research...

First, I wish that I was a tailor and could make my own gear like spellstrike and spellfire gear, but alas... I was talked into being an enchanter/alchemist (very expensive...)

Second, nine epic pieces is a really nice start and I wish that I could be so talented. :P I wish that mana wrath was easy to get, I've run that boss 14 times so far and I haven't seen it drop. My luck is horrible... and it would definitely be an improvement over what I have with a nice off hand... I also like it a little better than the runesong dagger for the increase in stamina and int, but I like the +spell crit for the dagger... of course that doesn't matter when you can get Stormcaller and add a +40 spell damage to that... that will certainly take you through Kara to get your next weapon of choice:)

Kara runs seem so far away right now...

But it seems as if you have everything pretty much planned out and there isn't much more that I can add that would be of much use to you. Of course, I could just gush over your stuff a little bit more if you'd like?

I know I should get revered with the Sha'tar to get Xi'ri's Gift and probably get the rep to get Violet Signet.

I guess I'll try running Mech for Mana Wrath some more and suck it up to do Shadow Labyrinth again to see if Greatsword of Horrid Dreams will drop.

I've got Starheart Lamp so atleast I have that off hand for whenever I find a good main hand.

And I'm aiming for Warp Engineer's Prismatic Chain for a new necklace and Mana-Sphere shoulderguards to replace my Mantle of Magical Might.

So any suggestions for my next step up?
