Well what you are wanting is definetly a rogue, but if you had that criteria why didn't you started out as one? As for a warrior, I play a lv40 NE War. and NE Rogue, you shouldn't look down on them. Everyone has a place, warriors are tanks to absorb damage and are team oriented. Rogue are solo even though they work great in a team. You probaly wasn't using the warrior right and at that lv you shouldn't try to slaugter a whole mob.

As for your question = Any race will be fine but check the stats on differnt race cause they are differnt get the one that favors your style , malee or assassins. Build your skill to what you want them to be is the key to be succesful.

**Remember they can dish out the heat, but cannot take the heat.

Bottom line, Doesn't matter what you play, just learn how to play them the way they are suppose to be played.

1st of all, don't quit your warrior just yet. I was a mid level warrior in beta, but not as high as Whyteshadow. I admit, warriors are not as fun in the beggining levels as your shaman probable was, but they do get better. Your get some killer moves where you could easily kill a rogue. I beleive one of them attacked everytime they dodged and there was another one like this. As far as rage goes.... I was annoying, but the warrior is made to be like that. Blizzard realized that a warrior doesnt have mana, they have rage. To help you learn on rage building, look for some tips in warrior forum; a good way i know of, is to duel weild so you hit more, and if you can, tank for a bit, which you will tuant the mob anyways because of your damage. the challenge with the warrior is to generate and manage rage, once you figure this out, your warrior will be so much more fun. The warrior does good damage, and can take tons of damage back. You could easily kill more mobs with a warrior than with a rogue in less time ( considering downtime and at once). At least in my experience. Since you are a tuaren, then you could easily escape battles the way i did with my tuaren druid. warstop ---> run. warrior obviously wears the best armor.

Either way it is your choice, and now that the actual game is out and im seeing what rogues can do, im THINKING of making one.
A good class for you might be the druid or shaman imo.

Both can escape fights very well, and the shaman later on wears mail. Don;t forget you could heal in battle. If your a druid you could become a bear, which resently got their armor upgraded i beleive 360% from when in druid form; or you could become a cat which can stealth and attack fast like a rogue.

Again, it's still your choice.

And Whyteshadow, please try not to tell warriors to tank ( even though they should if they are the only able to ). in beta ( on my server) there used to be tons of warriors because blizzard said they would not make warriors a specific tanking class. Now this game is turning into FFXI where if your not perfect ( tanking warrior, or totem spamming shaman) groups dont like you much and would drop for the next person. So im a shaman until they switch up the warrior a bit, or i might make a rogue +)

Well like it or not when you get high lv. you will have to tank, even tanking for pallys. I use to think i could do it all but when you get up there most of the instance and quest will be team oriented. If you dont protect your healers you all will die. Believe me i dont want that responsiblity, but i understand everyone plays a role and mine is to protect the team the best i can. Even if you are in battle stance you still have to draw them to you by switch to defense and taunt then switch back to battle stance. If there was a higher warrior on your team then he will tank you'll support.

This is turning out to be a warrior discussion so ill end it here.

Bottom line is, Like it or not you'll have to tank, cause letting your less armor team take hits, will kill the team very fast. "Groups not liking you", i wouldn't put it that way, everyone is require to play a role in a team. So you have to play yours. So not playing your role kills the team, then i wouldn't want you either. LOL
