Hunter's MarkFollow

While not actually parsing any damage output, I have noticed that there is no difference in my inflicted damage on a target whether it has HM on it or not. Obviously the spell has it's uses besides the added attack power, but is there something that I am missing?

Killing numerous mobs with it on I consistantly hit for between 90 and 103. I hit for the same without it on. For the sake of the post, and for example, earlier tonight before the server dropped I killed 10 razorfin oracles with it on, all within levels 30-32, and then 10 of the same targets without it. No difference.

Is there a point in later levels, basically 40+, that it makes a difference, or am I just missing something all together?

There is a differance at highr lvls im a lvl 44 hunter i tested this in the Badlands killing Scalding Whelps i do have cosmos so it is easy to track DPS,
After killing 50 Whelps without HM I had a a DPS of 121
After Killing 50 Whelps with HM I had a DPS of 132
(was not using Arcane Shot...., just send pet, open with a Aimed Shot followed by a Scorpid Shot)

so yes there is an Dam. improvment also if you have placed Talents in Improved Hunters Mark you will see a Fairly Large differance.

Hope this info help ya bud :o)

Thanks, it does. More dps is more dps, and I guess I shoulda figured that an extra 50 wouldnt really show much of a difference without a parse. Good to know, thank you.
