I just reached level 10 and I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me advice on my druid's build. Im in a PvP server and I'd like Balance/Restoration builds. Thanks! ^-^;;

Ok, I'm glad you asked. Balance/Restoration is a wonderful combo and will treat you well througout your entire Druid career. By choosing these two trees you are choosing to be powerful in caster form as opposed to your animal forms, but you will in no way be restricted. A bonus to chosing Balance and staying a majority of the time in caster form is that you will be able to handle adds in battle extreemely well (while outside).

Start off by taking Balance to 11 points. 5 in Nature's Grasp, 5 in Improved Moonfire, and 1 in Omen of Clarity. Omen of Clarity is your God spell, and you want it as soon as possible. After you reach it, you have the choice of following Restoration or continuing with Balance (do it). If you chose to follow Balance you need to spend 4 points in either Improved Entangling Rooots, Nature's Reach, or Swiftshifting. I have found that Swiftshifting is a wonderful ability that makes you more versatile and helps while you are in animal form and need to switch back, I suggest you max it. Nature's Reach is awesome too, but not needed as much because you often are meleeing in caster form.

As you continue down the Balance tree, focus on Moonfire. It is a powerful spell and is the main focus of the Balance tree, so spend your points on it! It's worth it! 5 points in Moonglow and 4 in Moonfury will do a lot for you in reducing cost and improving damage. Improving your weapon damage is not as significant as improving your Moonfire/Starfire damage since Moonfire/Starfire will be improved by MORE. Put 1 point in Nature's Grace, which is another ***-saving spell which requires Moonfire/Starfire, which you buffed! Now it comes to Vengence. Put your 5 points in and enjoy the ride. Each point you put in you will notice more and more of a difference in you Moonfire/Starfire critical hits. These 5 points are the reason you chose Balance and are the climax of the Balance tree. You can put one point in Hurricane at the end. It's an ok spell, usefull almost never, but worth getting for bragging rights.

By now you are 40 and your MoTW needs some buffing. So lets go over to the Resoration tree and make you a more productive healer to compliment your damage dealing and add-proofing! Spend your 5 points in Improved MoTW. Spend your next 5 in Nature's Focus, which will become Godly to you as your healing spells almost never become interrupted. (you can also choose to take Restoration this far early, after you take Balance to Omen of Clarity. Omen of Clarity + Nature's focus = spoogeworthy). The next thing you will want is Gift of Nature. One point in this will basically conclude your travels through your talent trees. These are the bare bones Restoration points you want.

Next it is up to you to fill in the holes of your Balance tree. Go back and put that 1 point in Moonfury that you missed and fill in that 2nd line of Improved Entangling Roots and Nature's Reach. Maybe buff up Wrath with Improved Wrath and actually use it since Vengence is up and running. Maybe take Improved Thorns for some more random damage. It is up to you.

Whatever you choose, do NOT put 5 points in Improved Starfire. A 15% chance to stun is so worthless and not worth your 5 points at all. It is the only ability on the Balance tree that you should avoid like the plague. Other than that it is fair game. Have fun!
