Hello Everyone!

I am making this post because from time to time I see the question asked "What is this pet for?" or "Which pet should I be using?" These are the questions every warlock will ask themselves.

Imp
This is your range attack pet. Use him when monsters give off nasty AEs (like boss fights). He also gets a bloodpact ablity (with the improved imp talent) can give party members an extra 400+ hp bonus at lvl 60.

The Imp also receives has fireshield. When grouped, DO NOT have this automatic. Instead, put this on your tank. Any dmg shield adds to aggro when struck, good for the tank, not for you.

Phase Shift- This ability is wonderful simply for the fact that it is impossible for your Imp to draw aggro if he is next to your side and not attacking. When you do many instances, you will discover that if you fall from a ledge or drop down, your pet will go the LONG way, and aggro a ton of mobs!

Overall, the Imp is a good rng fireball, dmg machine. Some people solo with him, while others stick with different pets. The choice is yours.

Voidwalker

The Voidwalker is a Warlock's tank. He has a ton of Armor and HP (Almost as much as WAR/PLD). The Voidwalker does not do alot of dmg however. You will be able to have your Voidwalker tank multiple monsters with the ability, Suffering.

The Voidwalker also gets the ability called Sacrifice. This ability will dispel your Voidwalker but give you a temp dmg sheild. This ability works great when fleeing from enemies or using AE spells like Helfire.

Succubus
The Succubus is a dmg dealer like the Imp. However, the Succubus has more HP/Agi/Str. She uses Lash of Pain to inflict dmg on the target. The Succubus' ability Soothing Kiss alows for a chance that her aggro will go onto something else. This is NOT a good ability to have automatic if a Warlock solos with her.

Seduction is one of the Succubus' greatest ability. Seduction is a crowd control ability that works on hummanoid mobs. When active, the target falls in love with her, and hearts come from their head, preventing all attacks. Only one monster can be seduced at a time.

Felhunter
The Felhunter is a good pet to use for caster type monsters. This pet has an ability to lock a magic spell for up to 8 sec. This means that if a monster is using fire spells, if the Felhunter uses spell lock, the monster will not be able to use fire spells for 8 sec.

The Felhunter also can dispel monsters buff and your party members debuffs. It can also give your party members increased stealth detection.

Overall, the Felhunter seems to be more of a support pet. He does not do good dmg but his abilities can be very useful in certain situations.

Felsteed

This will be your lvl 40 horse. You will be able to summon him after you do a set of EASY quests. Your Felsteed works just like your other pets when you summon him. He takes a small amount of mana to summon.

Infernal
The Infernal is not a "pet" like many assume it to be. After a Warlock reaches lvl 50 they will need to obtain a drop from the Warlocks in Blackrock Spire. The drop is called Grimoire of Inferno. The monsters that drop this grimoire are lvl 54-56. The Infernal cost a "Infernal Stone" reagent. A warlock can only summon him once every 30min. He has NO abilities of his own.

Doom Gaurd
The DoomGaurd come randomly from a result of the Curse of Doom finishing a monster off. He gets a few abilites that are pretty nice. However, I don't wanna say alot because I don't have him yet =p

Also you can enslave the demons in places... Like desolace.
Theres like versions of each there. The succubus just has lash of pain, the fel hyunter has mana burn, the infernal has fire shield 3 (30 dp3s in area) and the doomwarder has no abilities.
