I love my hunter to death, dont get me wrong but the Ability: Track Hidden just plain sux.

Was in Ashenvale looking for Outrunners (quest mob) they vanish just like any other rogue playing class, so why is it that when I get close to one it pops up on my Track Humanoid ability but that is the only time I can track them, they never show up when I have track hidden up. Track Hidden does not work for any kind of Hidden mob I have encountered.

Another example:

Was hunting in Ashenvale and an Alliance Rogue was running at me, he vanished, I put up track hidden and nada, couldnt find him anywhere on my map, then BAM! he backstabs me and runs off, vanishing again. I mean what is the fricking deal, why have an ability that doesnt work? All my other tracking functions work great and properly, except hidden. Am I using it in the wrong context or is there a bug I havent read about?

Please explain.

Track Hidden worked for me on those mobs in Ashenvale, I'm not sure what was wrong with yours. As far as the alliance guy goes I play PvE so can't answer your question. If you can get your hunter's mark on someone it still points em out even if they try to stealth on you. That doesn't solve your problem but may help you out a bit in the future.

/sigh

I've said this in countless threads. TRACK HIDDEN IS NOT BROKEN/WORTHLESS. When you have track hidden on, THEY DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE MINI MAP.

What Track Hidden Does: It is exactly like the human ability "Perception". It increases your stealth detection radius. This does not mean you will be able to see a rogue comming a mile away. It makes them appear a few yards farther away then when they would without you having Track Hidden on.

Another thing you might want to check was that players level. The higher level they are, the harder they are to detect.
