Lvl 50 and 60 high end summons maybe suck?Follow

I have 3 chars a 33 hunter, and just started a pally lvl 10 and warlock lvl 11 using them both to see wich I like more to raise as my Alt. Looking into the future of both as how valuble they are to a party and how well they can solo, I managed to see that both the lvl 50 and 60 summons that you can do are aggresive and will attack you unless you enslave them! now I cant assume since Im not a lvl 50 warlock that its the same as enslaving a enemy demon but thats what I need to know. Is it just like enslaving a demon where it can wear off on you and then attack you? or is it a permanent enslave since its one of your summons? If it can wear off I see a major loss in value since in the middle of a hard battle when you need it the most to help you it turns and wipes out your whole party. Also negative points are. the lvl 50 one the infernal can only be used outdoors so you cant use it in any dungions, and the lvl 60 one requires a full 5 person party to summon and randomly insta-kills one person when you summon it. I really hope there is a high lvl warlock that can answer the qeuestion for me cause I like warlock better than pld just because there are less of them and its more involved but Id hate to use a gimped from the start char that near end game id be dissapointed with.

Thanks,
Koi

yes it is exactly like enslave demon and the way it works now you dont have to worry about it turning on you in the middle of a battle because it doesnt last long enough for you to get there :/

Holy crap, why would they do that! Its like asking every person that hits lvl 50-60 as a Warlock to quit the game because of pure rage and jealousy. And i hear complants about the lvl 30 fel hound sucking too as a anti magic only summon.. they say void walker is your best summon for tanking and imp for damage and I think they are both kinda lame, one is a genie from a lamp, the other is well an imp that hops around with gold sparkles.

To make it worse you cant name them, my void walker has some lame name like del' nuz wich sounds alot like deez nuts I dunno maybe its just me but I dont see the harm in having abilty to name your summons.

I hate bashing anybody or anything so Ill point out the good stuff too so not to discourage anybody from being a warlock.

They can make soul stones that auto revive people in the party wich is very very handy in hard places where if your party gets wiped out = start over (so give one to your priest or pld)

They dont have to buy a mount they can summon one (but then you also cant get one even if you want it I dont think)

They are fun as can be to play, and very good in a group (esp if you go for the debuff talent tree)

They can warp a party member from anywhere to where the rest of the party is thus making it much easier to form a party when sombody doesnt feel like travling or you dont wanna wait forever.
(also a big life saver if you lose a person in an instance dungion)

Anyways the game is fairly new im sure they will in the long run make there abilties a bit better, I dont see them leaving warlocks 2 end game summons so nerfed up like that.

The trick with the Infernal is to put a Curse of Shadows on him, then Enslave. This can lower a chance of resist on Enslave. If he breaks free and nobody is paying attention to you, just Banish it until you can get a heal.

And your complaining about this? Deez Nuts would be feared all along the country side. Can't you imagine invading an enemy strong hold and hearing people scream "Look out for Deez Nuts!".

But seriously, I have no idea about high lvl Warlocks, but in the early and middle stages of evolution, they can be quite effective both in a party and soloing. Sucks that high end gets little rewards but enhancing the skills of an already effective technique/character helps offset the nerf I guess? And pets are animals with little thought and obedient through compassion. Demons are tormented souls that have existed as being with names. You control them, but its not the same as a pet (at least thats my opinion).
