So what's your favorite curse? I know all of them are good and useful, I just want to know what you like using the most.

Being i'm still low level and don't have much to work with I so far like Curse Of Agony the best. Helps make the fights go quick since it's instant cast.

Yeah I use CoA the most, but I like Curse of Tounges the best. I can just picture the look on the players face when trying to cast a spell that now takes at least twice as long as what they're used to. Very frustrating indeed. ^^

I use curse of weakness most of the time, but that's because I generally have my succubus up. I'm on a pvp server, and when travelling around, she's the safest pet to have up. Her seduction gives us a pretty big edge. I also find that in most cases, because she does ok damage, that when combined with curse of weakness and my dots, mobs go down pretty quick.

I'll use CoA on occassion as well, but I find that its mostly against players.

My favorite curse as to be curse of exaustion because when I fear a player (or a mob) and they start walking back to me with that curse I get the time to throw another fear :)

You know that's a good idea Daboo. I use my succubus almost exclusively while grinding now as well, I've just gotten so used to CoA I almost forgot about Weakness.

I'll have to try that out tonight (if servers come back up =P) and see what kind of difference it makes.

Yeah, the curse of weakness works pretty well with the Succubus. There are occassions where you'll have to funnel life to her, but she far outdamages the Voidwalker so it balances out. Specially if you have good first aid skills and can just heal yourself while the mob is concentrated on her.

There are a few occasions I've found though, where I have to switch to Ol Big Blue. I was lvl 35 at the time, fighting lvl 37 elite Ogres solo, and the succubus just couldn't hold aggro with the amount I had to heal her. So in this case the Voidwalker did the trick. It worked ok because I found a safe place to pull to, and could take the time to kill the mob. The big advantage with Suc is that you can take down mobs pretty quickly, and if you're fighting humanoids and get an add, she can seduce it, while you kill the other one. It takes some practice to get the balance right with her, but she actually is really effective in most, but not all, situations.

Uhm, if you're 35 how were you fighting level 37 Elites? I could see fighting 1 maybe, MAYBE, but it would take all of your mana and healthstone and potion to do it, no? Elites are no joke, I wonder if they were regular mobs?

Anyways, yeah I tried the CoW, and it works great with her. Much better than the CoA than I was using before, it's really a noticible difference how much less damage she takes like this.

I use them all. but y favorite would have to be CoA, mix it with all your other DoTs ad your enemy is taking around 75dps at lvl 30.

CoR is usefull when fighting humanoids i only use it once a humanoid reaches about 1/4HP left.

CoE i use occasionally for no reason.

CoW i used to use but now -15dmg isnt much.

CoT i use when fighting spellcasters (obviously) it can really help.

I use CoA in almost all my fights, but when attacked by multiple targets I throw a CoW on all of them. CoW is extremely effective against some many of the dual weilding enemies.
