Hunter StatsFollow

What do you consider the most important stats to raise via armor/items? I'm looking at making a full Tough Scorpid set for when I hit 45 (37 now, can make 2 of the set so far, can't wear mail till lvl 40), but the stats on it are all +agi and +spirit. Here's my current preference:

1. Agility agility agility! Increases your chance of criticals, armor rating, chance to dodge, this should be the primary concern for all Hunters. I'll keep an armor piece with less defense if it has more agi bonuses on it. It also raises your dps, I have a 20 dps bow but do 62 dps with my agi (78+87 currently).

2. Stamina. Hunter is a great solo class, whenever my pet is tanking 2 mobs I'll just fire off a multi-shot to bring the second mob to me while I continue with ranged atk's on the first mob. Need health to do that, every 10 stamina is 100hp.

3. Spirit. Hunters go through a lot of mana, especially with adds. Spirit raises your hp and mana tick regen in between battles, and even during battles. It's nice to have for when you're fighting two higher lvl mobs and keep getting that "Not enough mana." message.

4. Intelligence. This is currently pretty low right now, actually i'm not wearing any +int items, does anyone know if it affects your chance to hit with your magical abilities? mouse over says chance to crit with magic, but i just want my Scorpid Sting to not miss against lvl 40+ mobs.

5. Strength is last. Sure it's useful when you're fighting a boss mob and you pet dies, and you're faced with trying to finish him off via melee, but agi also increases your attack power for melee and ranged weapons, so i'm not putting anything into strength or my Survival talent tree.

Can any level 45+ Hunters share their feelings on this? I've also read that Dragonscale is a good path for Hunter/Leathercrafters to take, but it looks like a lot of the items just add resistance and not agi, how important is elemental resistances later on?

Level 28 Hunter as of this post.

Well here is a quote from blizzard's hunter details page.
Quote:
Stats
The Hunter cares about Agility (ranged attack power, 1/2 melee attack power), Stamina, Intelligence (for mana), Spirit, and Strength (when it can't get Agility).

With that said:

1. Agility: (obviously)
-Increased Ranged Damage
-Increased Melee Damage (50%)
-Increased chance to get a critical hit
-increased chance to dodge
-increased armor

2. Intellegence:
-Increased mana
-Faster weapon skill-ups (FYI, repeated Wing clips are great for skilling up that 2hd weapon)
-More spell crits. (still not sure if shots count. Not likely)

3. Stamina:
-increased hit points

4. Strength:
-increased melee damage (50%)

5. Spirt:
-increased health and mana regeneration rate

Speaking as a level 40 priest, spirit is nearly useless. You will not regen mana until 5 seconds after your last "spell". It will cut downtime a tad. But Seriously, just grab a stack of drinks. They are cheap.

If you melee a lot switch stamina to #2, Str to #3 and Int to #4

My thoughts on this.
