Potential Pet Bug :: World of Warcraft

Before I report this as a potential bug, I want to ask. I have 2 pets Lion and Wolf. I have the Wolf stored in the Stables, but when I go to retrieve it and then summon,I get message saying I have no pet to summon.

Has anyone else had this poroblem?

I have encountered this bug many times while i was playing as my hunter...i had a cat...a crab...and a owl in 1 stable but i could retrieve them when ever i wanted...

I had the same exact bug with my night saber. I have a lvl 13 night saber in stables, with my lvl 41 bear with me. Now i cant learn new talents for bear because I can't afford extra money for the second stable space. I heard you can get rid of it by logging out with the bugged pet. Then you log in and dismiss it. I havent tried, but might work

Yes, it does work. Happened to me once. I logged out and back again and it appeared.

At first I was pulling my hair because the pet I was trying to retrieve was the one that was at my current level. Fortunately the trick worked or I would have been a very pissed Hunter.

I had a bear that was stuck in stable I could never get him out. I got a GM to help me after opening a ticket of course. He ended up teleporting me couple of places trying different stables. Finally, last stop was in Darnassus summoned pet and it worked.

This is a known bug and I think the latest patch helped with couple of the bugs. I haven't had any problems since...

same thing happend to me, but the GM told me to go in the nearest instance( which happend to be Gnomeragan) and do revive pet. it worked but if someone told me about the logoff log back on trick would of worked it would of saved me some time lol..
