Cannot use rifle :: World of Warcraft

Hello everyone,

I'm an admitted newb to this type of game and just started a ranger the other night.

I need help, last night while playing I was opened my ammo pack to see how many shots I had left. Over 500, sweet deal. So I go back to hunting and when I target an enemy in range I cannot use my rifle. All that happens is my melee button starts to glow red and it tells me I'm out of range. I click on my rifle icon and it just doesn't fire.

So I run back and get my gun repaired thinking that would do it. Nope. I'm confused as to how to operate my gun now as it's a pretty important part in the class. Any ideas???

Try this:

- Open your character screen (where you equip all your items)
- Open your ammo pouch
- Drag the ammo from your pouch and drop it into the little ammo slot next to your rifle slot

That might do the the trick.

aye, a friend of mine had this problem too. You will have to do this EVERY time you change types of ammo. Pain in the ***** but thats the way it is. Got me on it too till i figured it out.
