what might be the best class/race for pvp?

straight up i'll be honest. In my experience, there isnt one class/race combo that excells at pvp, or pve for that matter. Race and class dont matter. Thats not to say some classes might be better suited for pvp played by a stock build idiot, but an informed, intellectual approach to pvp can be an above average player, regardless of class/race
My advice: Be what you want, and learn from your errors. Judging by WoW's success, this game will be around for at least five years, thats plenty of time to learn and succeed at a game.

Are you cognitively incapable of making that decision for yourself?
If you are in fact unable to decide, im an undead priest. Use that as your template for maximum funness. At the very least, it'll put you on your way towards finding a niche for yourself.

Point is kinda what Nascaris said, all the classes are fun. I would not suggest priest honestly, most people prefer big shiny damage numbers. Otherwise really just a matter of taste.

how many characters can u have?
more then you'll have time to build-up.
and you can not mix the factions on the same server. You can not have an alliance and a horde on the same sever.

I won't give my opinion, just reply with what you see on Horde /General chat.. "$#@%! Damn Paladins, when is Bliz gonna nerf them!?!?"
So, atleast on my server (Frostwolf), Alliance's most feared/hated are Pal.
Now, Horde, I don't know. But it would be very cool if one of you Alliance fellas/ladies could share what the Horde race you most fear/hate.

I have an Orc hunter and a night elf rogue on Bloodhoof.
Or does this only apply to PvP?
